Really like the design challenging to tame

The first trick is to separate them. They are easily distracted if you are on a flying tame. So, using that to your advantage, you can hit one a couple times with the tame then lead it away as progressively the others get distracted. I had to do a combination of killing surrounding dinos and letting it hit me a bit. Hitting its head only kills it faster THERE IS NOT HEADSHOT MULTIPLIER, it just kills it faster even with darts.

They can be picked up by a Quetzal, use this to your advantage to get them alone so you can take in peace

Kill the lowest levels and nock out the highest level

They sometimes spawn inside each other on PC and get stuck. So if you see like 3 or 2 allows inside each and you have Atleast 20 tranq darts consider taming these guys and breeding them. Like seriously! I got a low level couple to breed and now I have a rex killing squad!

Taming the pack is unstoppable

Be careful if using tranq arrows to knock out- High torpor to low health means you risk killing it trying to knock it out. Almost killed a 145 with 85 tranq arrows

I saw a comment where someone used a 3x2 pen built 2 high, and I tried it out and it works! 3x3x2 on a boat, along with ramps, stopped by a lonely allo, and it walked right in lol

Dont bother with 5x5 or 4 high. It should be 3x3x3 for least expensive and most efficient

Ok nvm sorry I checked my pen size in the game and it was 6x6 and the other was 7x7 with 4 hight

The allosaurus CAN be picked up with a quetzal!

lure a couple allos to the bottom of a cliff that you can't run up. using a mount that can fly/jump exceptionally well, scale the cliff. bring two crossbows: one for tranqs, and one for regular arrows; tranq the allo you want, and if it gets low on health, shoot and kill the others. since allos have no sense of shame, it'll eat its friends and regain health without losing torpor. once it starts to run, chase it! you need to be fast; i used my deinonychus to help me tame a lvl 135 and it worked great. kill anything that might attack your freshly unconscious friend, feed it some mutton, and enjoy

The 2 ways to tame it are:

1:get an equus and a rex and kill the allos and leave one alive,next,but kick it with your equus and make it unconscious

2:craft a crassbow and 200 tranq arrows (sorry if I misspelled)and tame all of the allos there.

I just tamed one of these guys I tamed like in a steep hill it followed me it was stupid

You can stand on a stone that thy can't reach you but it needs to be bigger than the allo and if the allo can clim up you run(use a pte or argentavis to get on the rock)

When it gets bloody stop shooting and wait a bit

Here's a mobile taming trap that'll work on just about anything from a Saber to an Allo:

1xRaft, 1xStone Dino Gateway, 1xStone Dino Gate, 2xStone Sloped Roof, 4xStone Foundation, 4xStone Ceiling, 18xStone Doorframe, 1xPteranodon (Optional).

Assemble 2x2 foundation on raft, add ramps and gateway to the front, place doorways to the height of the gateway on remaining sides, add ceilings at the top.

Lure dino through the gateway, fly/jump through the doorframes, and close the door behind the dino.

Modify as you see fit, additional structures maybe damaged or destroyed during tame. Monitor your health stats while luring and watch out for Leedsicthys during transit.

I got lucky and found a glitch and they got stuck tamed two at the same time
