Genesis is probably the buggiest map I've played so far.

So, I'm doing the pollen mission and notice that my current tames aren't dealing enough damage. Fine, I'll get a spino instead. I find a level… 20 and a level 90 with most of its stats in food and oxygen (I play with awesome spyglass). Okay, I'll teleport to the volcano and find an allo, they're more common.

I find the PERFECT breeding pair (to me, anyway). Female with 26 points in health and a male with 26 points in melee. I start knocking out the female but underestimate just how many tranqs I'm gonna need. Spent about 60 getting the female tranqed, but managed to tame her up with some prime meat and cryo her.

I go to get the male, but I run out of tranqs halfway through, try to use a slingshot, and he's just loosing health, and my current tame is on 20% hp. I try to make a trap but I'm horribly unprepared and I have to run. Fine… I teleport out, bring my allo home, and name her "Shardarna" 36 POINTS IN HEALTH. I'm feeling GREAT. I head back to the volcano. But the other allo is… he probably fell through the map. I find a few more allos but they have awful stats, and yet somehow they nearly merk Shardarna and I reluctantly do a dino wipe because the chances I find an allo like this again are like… 2%. I kill some weaker dinos for meat, heal, etcetera etcetera. Until I decide to head to the Arctic biome in search of a nice base spot. I start the teleport, and a landslide happens just at the last second, Shardarna gets shoved out of the teleportation zone, and I'm left stranded in the ice biome with no tames.

I immediately teleport back and run over to where I last was. I can see her green outline with my spyglass but… Something's wrong, the map isn't loading properly, classic ark, it'll load when I get there. I keep running over, and she clips through the floor.

Oh well, I already cheated once. I go into ghost mode and fly down, frantically trying to cryo my rapidly falling 20k health allo, but I can't get close enough and everything is being incredibly buggy, I keep going down, down, down.

I fly out of the void, get ALL my gear deleted as well because I was going too fast, and I am furious at this point. So, as any normal person would do, I give myself my four most important items back: 1. My axe, 2. My pickaxe, 3. My crossbow, and 4. My allosaurus with 36 points in health. But… How am I supposed to do that?

I spawn in at least 50 allosauruses and spend the next 20 minutes flying around this massive heap of dinosaur and tranq the one with 26 points in melee out, then lead the other guys away and kill a level 10 for prime. I tame my 115 up, and get 16 points in health and almost merked by a level 40. But he's still alive, and he has 36 points in melee. I had planned to fight and kill ALL other allos since I was cheating, but considering my stats, I teleported (fearfully) back to the Bog and returned home.

He's alright. For now. Though I plan to get one of those mods with a cryo gun, in case anyone else falls through the map.
