Chapter 3

She asked the young deinonychus it’s name and it looked confused and surprised and worried all at once. Then as if it had suddenly made up its mind to do something. It walked over and said “Hellomynameisdanpleasedonteatme.”

He spoke fast darting back and forth as he spoke. She couldn’t understand why he seemed nervous…and did he say don’t eat me! “I would never eat a deinonychus I’m a pescavore and only eat fish. Deinonychus are to feathery anyway even if I didn’t eat only fish.”

“Oh okay” said Dan more calmly now that fear had left him “I am usually lonely living alone you know.”

“Yeah,” she said “ it gets tough but I’m looking for a specific deinonychus and am not sure if it’s you…Dan”

“Oh come on it couldn’t be any deinonychus but me I am a great hunter, a fast runner, and a wonderful friend. You have to take me along.”

“Well I suppose you can come along for now, but if I find a more likely deinonychus your out.”

“Great” said Dan “ I’m totally in I accept the invitation”

“Um you expect you invited yourself”
