Honestly they aren't as useful as everyone say they are and they only eat sweet veggie cakes Don't tame

BREEDING -

Just like the adult snails, they only eat cake when growing.

I'm on the ps4, when breeding they only seem to eat when rendered.

I've had them die on me because I've logged off. Even though there was still food in their inventory. (I logged back on and the bag was on the floor with cake in it but it had starved)

They do eat out of the meawing, again only when rendered.

I believe / hope this is a bug that will be fixed soon.

According to my testing they will produce about 1 Achatina Paste per minute capping our at 100. They also produce organic polymer but only at a slightly faster rate than the spoiling time of the polymer, so there won’t ever be more than 2 in their inventory.

It is much easier to tame on PVP, as you cannot pickup wild dino's on PVE, and it is CONSIDERABLY easier to tame at home then in a swamp.

If PVP, pick up with pteranadon or bigger and bring home (or put in strong box) to tame.

Still eats only veggie cakes, pain but easy with 1-2 beehives per achatina. Also know whether or not you need to break certain trees or use a tap on your world for sap.

If you're new to Ark: Ultimate Mobile Edition, or you don't know where to find RELIABLE information about difficulty, then this tips for you (i didnt know where to put this)

Just go to the wiki page for difficulty, don't trust people that say that the max level for dinos is 150, its 120 for normal creatures, 144 for tek creatures, and even higher for dinos in the snow cave, swamp cave, and the caverns of lost hope.

for example, if you want normal creatures to spawn at a max level of 30, try a difficulty setting of 0.143.

Oh and also fall damage SUCKS in this game.

It’s kinda useless to tame. These snails only give you paste so it’s a little good but they can’t bite and are super slow. Don’t waste your time taming one like I did.

You don’t have to tame them just pick up with PT and drop in an enclosure and they will give you cementing paste substitute

Moon your stories are great I love them so much.

Why would they use cake such a scarce thing for something not useful I mean you can do this on your own

What I've seen from the other tips and my personal experience in one tip!

Spawn: Edge of Swamp to basically all of Redwoods

Taming Style: Passive.

Taming Food: Sweet Vegetable Cake

Food after tame: Herbivorous Food (berries n stuff)

Drops when Killed: Chitin, Meat, (mobile) Angler Gel

Damage Reduction: Shell, 0.1x

Behavior: usually chills around, very passive

Ability: produces up to ~50 CP, then produces org poly until the CP is removed

Pick one up near the swamp / red woods in the island when its inside its shell amd place it near ur base turn ur poop interval settings all the way down to 0.01 and make sure to click "host non-dedicated session" u can click private after it will be ur same world but it will give u a ton of Cementing paste without taming it and every min u will get around 70 paste your welcome
