Low level Achatina is very hard to KO without killing. From my experience under level 25 it gets killed even with 1 tranq dart

Wild:Found mostly in marshes and jungles, Achatina limusegnis is a very slow, very non-threatening land mollusk. It might be the simplest creature on The Island to hunt, and while it only provides a small amount of meat and chitin, an easy meal is always of value on The Island. Unlike nearly every other creature on The Island, Achatina does not defecate normally. Instead, it secretes a thick, sticky substance. Achatina leaves trails of this slime, but the trails are so thin that they crumble to dust quickly.

It’s best to have a Redwood home on a tree platform with a few sap taps and beehives, a flying mount, and the crops(savoroot, rockarrot, longrass) and stimulants needed for the vegetable cake recipe. The hardest part of the tame is crafting the taming food as it takes time for crops to grow, bee hives to turn rare flower to honey, and sap to come out. You can also pick up the snail for quick transport

Fantastic weight shoulder pet. Put 1000 weight of items on it, pick it up, and you are only encumbered by 500.

You can ride a dino while holding a snail, so even if you can’t move with 500 weight, maybe your dino can.
