What are tips for achatina? Tips and strategies for achatina in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
Okay I couldn't find any info on feeding baby achatina so did a little trial and error. I found the baby achatine will birth at around 500 food. At first it would not let me put anything into the inventory. At about 100 food I was able to put a sweet cake into it. It did not eat it until about 25 food. Once it ate it was back up to 500 food. Does not feed off of the maewing as of yet. So far seems like it must be hand fed.
You can now breed them for some reason.
Use tranqs while it’s out of its shell and a flyer that has a carry function. Carry it to base or a tree platform, tame with sweet vegetables cakes and they eat that after tamed. Put narcotics in it inventory they drop torpor fast maybe like 30 jus in case, but not needed. Noticed a yellow bar appear on the cakes whenever it was bugging. Is that jus how it works? Wait till the yellow bar goes down? I was scared my cakes was spoiling ;(
The Achatina is a massive snail, mostly used for its production of Cementing Paste, or as a pet. This creature produces its paste passively — and quite frequently — so many survivors keep them around their bases. However, its usefulness pretty much ends there, as it cannot attack and moves quite slow. The Achatina must be tamed violently.
Achatina's sometimes take damage over time randomly due to being knocked out by titanoboas, waking up, and having their food lowered to 0 in the process
Damage is reduced due to the shell. Hit the soft areas to deal more damage.

WHY TF DO THESE THINGS STILL ONLY EAT THERE CAKES WHEN THEY ARE TAMED
For newbies who can’t make veggie cakes, just kidnap the snail things with a Petradon and drop them in a 3x3 foundation circle with the middle foundation not there and fences all around the middle.
It’s not as efficient as taming them, but you’ll have them when you need them to tame!
There should be longrass-bread (cornbread) in Ark. Put longrass and oil in a preserving bin and wait, then you have dried longrass. Then grind it up in a mortar and pestle and you have longrass flour. Then mix with water in a campfire and you have cornbread! Should keep a long while and fill a lot of hunger. This would be awesome. Up so Developers can see!
How do I get giant bee honey if I’m on Mobile...🤨 I really wanna tame one of these guys
