To players who are sorta new to ark.. Yes you can get prime fish meat from sabertoothed salmon but you have to use a sickle otherwise you are wasting your time and better of killing a colcealcanth.

If possible, find as many leedsicthys (big whales) as you can, and scrape them. This will either give you 100 raw fish meat, or 100 raw prime fish meat.

Go to S1 and go to the river in the shallow parts you can find piranhas and saber tooth salmons for easy early prime meat just stay by the edge in case of to many piranhas I learned that the hard way😁

Da easiest way to get dis stuff is to go in ariver and shoot sabertooth salmon with a cross bow then harvest them with a sickle. You Get Loads If Itsa Big One

Tusos are apparently considered a fish in Ark even though they are giant ass cephalopods because they don't drop normal meat for some reason....

Leedsichthys-s are the greatest source of prime fish meat

Approach it with an ichthyosaurus and tap left side of the screen to scrape prime fish meat passively in mobile

If pc just don't use a raft, an ichthy is better
