I just watched Syntac’s video showing every Genesis 2 creature and they’re amazing. The Noglin is hilarious and it’s mind control is weird. The maewing is cute and the ability to carry babies in pouches is even cuter, and it’s glide looks cool as well. The shadowmane is AWESOME and I love it. Astrodelphis also looks quite good but I was disappointed by the voidwyrm as it has pretty much no new abilities.

So I found a video on how to tame creatures quicker, and it actually works. The guy showed two ways, one where you murder that taming effectiveness, and the other is similar but you keep the taming the effectiveness. I’ll go over the one where you keep the taming effectiveness. So what you want is a shotgun, a low level stego, and the creature’s favourite kibble and a magnifying glass, or scan a creature with HLNA if your on gen 1 or 2. What you wanna do is get the creature your taming below 40% health, and then knock it out. Now this is where your low level stego comes in. Use your bleed attack on the creature that your taming, and as soon as you see the blood splatter, cancel the ability. I don’t understand how it works, maybe with the stamina drain? Anyways, it works but it can be a bit hard. The other way is you knock it first, shotgun it to 40% and do the same thing.

I think it’s just that I’m too lazy to get a harpoon gun for the weaker but more controlled rock drake, which is known as the maewing. Although the fed tek suit is pretty good though…

Okay so I think it’s best I do the Eden Zone first, and since I’m not used to tek abilities I’ll have to get used to those. Then there’s just the problem of getting the Genesis Season Pass, which is currently pretty expensive 😐. Also, when I get the season pass, should skip straight to part 2 or do part 1 first?

Syntac posted a video showing the bossfight and end cutscene of Genesis 2. Idk why, but I spoiled the ending for myself and watched it. Ending is...quite an ending to ark. I really teared up.

You start with the fed Tek in Genesis 2. You don’t need element to use the abilities, but it doesn’t give very good armor either. The Tek suit power punch has been disabled probably because of the chaos going on in official Genesis part 2 PvP servers with everyone constantly punching each other.

No worries, I found out how to steer the canoe on PC. Normally you just turn the camera, but you have to press A and D keys to turn canoe on PC

If you’ve tried “the team downriver run” mission in gen 2, you’d know that there’s a huge invisible wall in the middle of a section. I figured out how to get past it, to do it you have to stay close to the left, like bumping in to the barrier. That’s how I got past it, hope this helps.

Got a R-reaper king, and I need to point this out so others don’t make the same mistake, or just get confused. Careful where you place the trap, because what happened to me a good amount is when I was in the impregnation animation (that rhymes) I got kicked off midway through or at the start. Could just be trap, so pay attention to where you get grabbed. Also if your wondering, my reaper got a cool red color.

Havent played part 2 yet, by the time this posts I will have. Watched a map tour and watched Syntac show off the ending cutscene. The ending is super sad, but the map looks great! Plus we’re getting extinction and Gen pt 1 creatures on it according to the wiki.
