Just did the artifact of the brute cave (easy underwater cave) and found a level 260 friendly mosa. I chose XP rover the mosa and killed it. Only bit my basil once, who deals over 415 damage.

Defeating a very disgusting beast (part 2, contains spoilers.)

I shot at the floating squids until both of them were dead. And then I jumped back to the platforms in the back, since the lava had disappeared. Just tamed a spino, and here’s what happened:

So I found the spino, checked dododex for how many tranqs I needed, and I had the exact amount. Once I built the trap (by gathering the resources from redwoods, since this was at the black sands. Now, once I had used all my tranqs, the spino wasn’t knocked. I then went to get resources for a thatch foundation and a mortar and pestle. Once I got the foundation, the spino was asleep. I put prime meat into it and let it tame. And that’s how I have a spino before a rex.

My argy has 5,000 hp. Three stegos, level 25 and two 45s got my argy down to 2800 hp. I didn’t know that stegos were dealt this much damage and gave a debut that doesn’t allow you to recover stamina. Oh yea, and I did this for one tek stego. Maybe it was worth it?

I finally obtained industrial forge! Only took me around 7-10 hours (or two days, if you want to say that.) so yay, I also have a ton of oil, so INFINITE METAL! Until I run out of unrefined metal.

Just figured out how to dodge the sentinel walker’s laser. It’s a bit hard, but if the laser is near your right side, then run left. If the laser is near your left side, then run right. After that it gets easy and you can just circle around it and avoid the plasma bolts.

Lamprey, if you want to get a lot of metal fast, that really depends on your map,

But here's some advice on it:

For Ragnarok find the cave near the ivory crag,

It's hidden behind some stones but if you can fly a certain distance away it'll render the cave entrance but not the rocks,

That cave is chock-full of metal so just place a forge and if you can uncryo a mammoth, if you don't have cryos and mammoths the next best choice would be carry a beaver, that way you can harvest wood from the beach right in front of the entrance to continually fuel the forge and get a whole load of metal.

Also on Ragnarok, if you want lots of quick, safe metal, you could go to Viking bay and follow the beach towards the blue obelisk until you find a huge formation of stones, the biggest dangers around it are dilos and it has plenty of metal around the edges,

Making it perfect for both living in and gathering.
