Shadow -

Shadows are like ghosts, except instead of taking the form of who they once were, they take the form of whatever they want. Shadows, much like ghosts, have one main ability and that is the ability to possess humans and dinosaurs. Though they have many abilities, the shadow I interviewed for this log only talked of one, saying that speaking of others could get him/her(never gave me pronouns so...) killed. Most shadows (I'm assuming) come from a radiated Ark called Nova. The shadow I talked to said they had come in contact with the radiation and survived. Though shadows are mainly seen as human shadows they can also be seen as creatures and can be nice. Shadows are very weary of who they are around for they do not know who is shadow catcher and who isn't making them a neutral flee, meaning if they fell unsafe they will run from who is making them uncomfortable. If a shadow is not taking the form if a creature you will see then as "a solid black ghost with a black aura dimly glowing around it, with dimly glowing white eyes".

Shadows are very strong in Halloween and at night are practically invincible, making them the kind of thing to encounter during the day. I do not recommend going after one though for they travel in groups. In there groups there are shadows that take the form of large and powerful creatures, these shadows will kill if they have to (hope you don't mind me adding a couple small details Shadow). Shadow catchers are the only people that can take a shadows essence and "tame" them. "Taming" them is cruel though for shadow catchers tame them by stealing their essence, forcing a shadow to follow them and do as they say until they get their essence back.
