Best way to get mutagen is to convert the mutagel you get from farming the ambreris asteroid fields 800 mutagel converts to 6 mutagen.

U can also get it in the Rockwell innards biome but this is a very dangerous place

In Rockwell’s innards only 3 of the Mutagen spawn at a time best way to get some is to use the tek suit alone as to get away from the summoners.

Go to gen 2 in the middle, then wait to get the right map with the cream colored rocks the mine them with a metal pickaxe a stone will not work them mine them and you get as much mutigen as you need untill the next day then it will reset

Bait out its zap attack and once it’s doing net gun it, blast it with a Fabricated sniper or tek rifle until it is at the right health once it gets free from the net have a friend bait out the zap attack and mount it as fast as possible have your mutegen ready you need to be really fast with it, basically like an equus but deadlier!
