Tips & Strategies

What are tips for extraordinary kibble? Tips and strategies for extraordinary kibble in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
Just set your wyverns on breeding, and use their eggs!
Hespirornis eggs need to be golden to count as a rare
Deinonychus. EASY and fast raising. On 3x done in one day. Bunch of low level females, a couple males, and BOOM. Easy egg farm. Got about 40-50 of them. I make 40-50 kibble daily. Don’t forget your honey farm! I use 5 bee hives. Works perfectly.
Use wyvern eggs you get from the dens that are pretty much food same for rock drakes an the thunder chickens on Val.
Deinonichus the best method to farm kibble
Only fore real ark players use wyvern, rock drake, and mag eggs.
Head to valguero and tame some duinocuis or however you say it and mass bread them they're really easy to breed and vwola you have a bunch of extraordinary eggs
Deinonychus are your best bet here. If you already have two. Skip ahead. If you don’t read about how to get some.
TAMING:
To get your first two. Get a flyer and have your friend pick you up and bring you near to their nests. Then use a whip to grab the eggs while flying out of the wild ones reach. Make sure to grab 3-5 eggs to ensure you get a male. Then just raise them up using meat.
KIBBLE FARM:
Once you have at least one male and female breed until you have a few more females. Any males you get can join your hunting pack. All the females Should join the kibble farm. You don’t need more than 8 females for the farm; don’t go overkill. Once they all are raised, make a sort of perch for your females out of a row ceilings one wall off the ground with a ramp leading up to it. Put all your females on this perch, with their butts sticking off the back. Make sure they all are on breeding. Put the worst male at the bottom, then wait. Make sure to pick up the eggs for Kibble.
Just headed over to valguero and came up some the dynochucyss things and then you can just use their eggs and mass read them
They can tame FASTER dinos that dont prefer extraordinary kibble
So that's it
If you find a fertilized wyvern egg and it’s a low level take it and use it for kibble cause who cares the baby’s are gonna be failures like my son!!!!!!
If you have Valguero you can get a ton of deinonychus eggs all over the map instead of waiting for mate times
Fastest and most effective way to get this kibble:
1. Tame a dire bear that is at least lvl 100 in the wild
2. Use dire bear to farm giant bee honey
3. Store bee honey in a fridge/preserving bin for safe keeping
4. Tame Low Lvl Yutyrannus for eggs (look up tutorials for effective traps if needed)
5. After Breeding occurs store eggs in fridge/preserving bin for safe keeping
6. Make a greenhouse for the crops required for the laz chowder (the other materials needed for laz chowder are fairly simple)
7. Make kibble in Industrial Cooker for fastest results (cooking pot also works)
P.S: (Yutyrannus is usually best if you are on The Island but if you are on Ragnarok Wyvern Eggs are easier to get)
Hesperornis Golden eggs works for this kibbles, so tamming a much of these may be helpfull
Go to valguero and steal some of the deinonychus eggs and hatch 2 or 3 then breed them or turn the females on breeding but not the males because you will get none fertilized eggs
How to farm golden hesperornis eggs efficiently:
1. Get a tamed female hesperornis and set it to neutral
2. Put it on your shoulder
3. Go to a river or a place with a lot of fish
4. Go to either a coelacanth or sabertooth salmon nd kill it (piranhas don't work)
5. Release the hesperornis and let it harvest the corpse
6. Put the hesperornis back onto your shoulder
7. Do steps 4-6 four more times, essentially letting it harvest 5 fish corpses.
8. Release the hesperornis on land
9. Wait for it to lay a normal egg, if it's not ready to lay an egg, it will say "enable wandering or mating to mate", if it is ready, it will say "ready to mate" (basically wandering will be automatically turned on if it is ready to lay an egg)
10. Pick up the normal egg
11. Repeat steps 3-7 three more times
12. Release the hesperornis on land
13. Wait for it to lay a golden egg, if it's not ready to lay an egg, it will say "enable wandering or mating to mate", if it is ready, it will say "ready to mate" (basically wandering will be automatically turned on if it is ready to lay an egg)
14. Pick up the golden egg
15. Repeat the entire process to farm golden eggs. You can also put the golden egg in somewhere that preserves food or cook it into extraordinary kibble right away, they have a noticably short spoil time but it's not that bad.
Summary:
Basically you have to have the hesperornis harvest 20 coelacanth or sabertooth salmon corpses, which can be divided into 3 intervals of 5 for it to lay a normal egg, and finally another 5 for the golden egg.
Explanations:
Turning the hesperornis to neutral will have it be able to harvest coel and salmon corpses, while preventing your other tames (if you have them nearby) to also target whatever your hesperornis is targeting if it is set to aggressive.
It will also save time if you don't want to wait for the hesperornis to do the dive attack again after it kills a fish.
Having the hesperornis harvest the coel/salmon corpse is enough for it to be stacked to the hesperornis to be able to lay eggs, you don't have to have the hesperornis kill the coel/salmon.
After it harvests 5 coel or salmon corpses, wandering will automatically be turned on to prevent it from doing any other action, (and probably for it to wander to land) this can be indicated if it says "ready to mate", in the creature window.
It will always have to harvest 5 fish corpses every time you want it to lay an egg, no more, no less, that's a fact.
It will always lay 3 regular eggs before it wants to lay a golden egg, that's a fact.
And finally:
No, piranhas don't work for hesperornises if you want them to lay eggs. That's a fact, and probably the source of some of y'all's error.
For going against the norm, i'll gladly accept your downvotes, but please consider everything in this tip as 100% accurate.
And no, this isn't slow.
on fjordur, deinonychus are super easy to find and it’s even easier to take their eggs (they love to fight the local herbivores)
3 female yutys and a male an oviraptor you get eggs quickly
If your on fjordur go to the ‘bug cave’ in the redwoods and find the honey nodes mine then with a pick axe to get a ton and save time not finding beehives
Farm deinonychus eggs on valguero to easily make this kibble, making all other kibbles pointless.
