More Rare Mushroom Tips
Take a theri to the swamp and harvest the trees with the right click attack for pc. R2 for ps4. You will get 100s in under 5 minutes. Hope this helps!
Anyone else thing that the procoptodon should gather rare mushrooms better considering the fact that its the only food you need to tame them

remember when a beaver spawns there is guaranteed to be a beaver dam
For those who dont know, you get A LITTLE BIT of rare mushrooms from mining crystal.
These are a great food for mobile players since they provide 25 food, don’t spoil, and are fairly light. The reason I say only mobile players is that on mobile there are no negative effects.
Just harvest mangrove or cypress trees with any herbivore that does high enough damage per hit to withstand the swamp, you can use theris, direbears, megatheriums, stegos, or even a trike and you can get over a stack in just a few minutes because every tree has a chance to drop up to 4 rare mushrooms but be careful of rhynios.
It's also worth it to bring a bronto since you can harvest rare mushrooms and rare flowers at the same time and also at a way faster rate since your attack aoe will hit cattails anyway so you can just stand still them spam attack until you get nothing after your last attack.
If you are on ark use the spyglass also works since the bronto's attacks have a long damage window so after you attack you can quickly pull out your spyglass and- Wait what? I suddenly forgot what I was talking about.
If you're on a map that has the mushroom trees from Aberration, a good quality chainsaw works really well
Satan’s tickle bird is actually very good
Eat it, you definitely won't go blind
Rob beaver dam and you will get a lot
