I haven’t seen anyone mention this but Karkinos can kill jellyfish quite effectively. They don’t aggro the jellyfish and when you attack they run away. The downside is that Karkinos can’t attack away from the seafloor. You can get around this by shooting with a crossbow from its back to aggro, but be careful and back away while hitting them once they get close.
