Unless you have projectiles to shoot at jellyfish from afar, only kill them with tuso, basilo, or desert titan (very unlikely you'll have one but they can function normally underwater. They can't be transferred so you'll only be able to kill jellies with them on maps they are summoned via admin command). These are the only tamable water dinos that resist the sting. DO NOT USE MOSA OR GIGA, THEY ARE AFFECTED. you may be able to kill one or two with other dinos, like mosa, plesio, sarco, or spino, but don't risk it when fighting a group of them. Another alternative is to use an iguanodon and harvest the poisonous red mushrooms found on both abberation and the abberant cave on valguero (they are more common on abberation) . Make sure you bring a gas mask to be safe. I hope any of this info cleared some things not already stated.

Tame eels with biotoxin, it's realmente easy to get:). (Tested in mobile)
1: find some Cnidaria, they spawn near the shore. (The glowing jellyfish, if you don't know how they look)
2: get in the water, then go out. they won't move for some seconds, but they will get closer to you. Do this until they get near the shore, where they can't get you.
3: kill them; DON'T GET TO CLOSER. They can shock you, and you won't move for some seconds. Normally they spawn in groups of 3.
4: farm the biotoxin, you can get around 13 from every corpse.

Use the basliosaur， it's immune to the jellyfish sting and is also protects u from getting knocked off of your mount.

You’ll want an Archelon if you wanna mass harvest Bio Toxin. It’s completely immune to Jellyfish and provides infinite oxygen while riding it!
If you kill the jellyfish with
Fists: you have a suicide mission for you
Bow: just keep waiting
Tools: maybe try to be careful
Pike: okay, that's an okay choice
Crossbow: peak killer to jellies
Any gun: wait you have mods?
Tek Gauntlet: waste of element
Harpoon Gun: basically crossbow but more expensive
Tame: say bye bye to your tame
Unshockable tame: good job, you did it

Get raft and bow or crossbow and go to the glowing jellyfish then shoot them move raft every now and then so whale doesn’t get it then park raft right next to dead jelly and get it then jump back in and go
