Id like to thank all of U for Ur contributions but wanted to say this to the people talking about ovis the reason it's kept out of tips and should be is because it's not in the mobile version as such the same tips about ovis repeating allow no real variety of information to be gained thank you for reading this
More Pelt Tips
Sheer Ovis for pelt (with scissors) you get 30 each harvest and grows back.
Up so more people can see
I tamed up a direwolf and leveled till 700 % melee damage. Killed ONE Wooly Rhino and got 110-150 Pelt. Gathering rate on my Server is 1
Chainsaw gives 400 pelt from a single mammoth , but if you harvest them with a hatchet you get 100 max , CHAINSAW is the goat
Kill beavers for early pelt use hatchet
Why would someone kill a unicorn for thisβ¦
THE single best way to get pelt is literally taking 2 ovis, breeding them all until you have enough, store them for a day, level ALL health, then kill it and use the chainsaw in it. You're most welcome. I'm not even sure why this isn't a tip on here π

How come you can't get pelt from hairy creatures such as the gigantopithecus and sabertooth , yet you can get it from the nearly bald ravager which has a small amount of hair on its back ???
Here are some ways to GAIN pelt
Easiest Way : Get a ovis then get scissors,
you had your first way for

Easy way : Find some low level Castoroides ( Beaver ) Then Uno reverse card its existence and harvest the body :)
Hard way : Unalive a Yutyrannus ( I think I might have spelt it wrong) for a LOT OF PELT
Harder Way : You wish there was a Unicorn or Equus near you
The way of you would never accomplish:
Kill the ice titan few times for TONS OF PELT
