I tamed up a direwolf and leveled till 700 % melee damage. Killed ONE Wooly Rhino and got 110-150 Pelt. Gathering rate on my Server is 1
Chainsaw gives 400 pelt from a single mammoth , but if you harvest them with a hatchet you get 100 max , CHAINSAW is the goat

THE single best way to get pelt is literally taking 2 ovis, breeding them all until you have enough, store them for a day, level ALL health, then kill it and use the chainsaw in it. You're most welcome. I'm not even sure why this isn't a tip on here 😂

you don't have to tame an ovis to shear it!
How come you can't get pelt from hairy creatures such as the gigantopithecus and sabertooth , yet you can get it from the nearly bald ravager which has a small amount of hair on its back ???
Easy way: Kill Ovis and Harvest with Chainsaw.
Hard way: Kill Yuty and harvest with Chainsaw
