Go to carno island take an op creature and kill every scorpion there or just use cheats or do a cave run probably clever cave

For starters, get a sabertooth, run the south cave and you should have about 600 chitin average

Go to the bug cave on the island get a megathium kill the bugs but harvest with a frog

These are just easy resources to obtain if you dont have sabertooth or direwolf just bring a bow or reccomend crossbow and just shot every last one of bugs in the cave and just use hatchet to get this chittin you will get lots of it if bugs gets near you just jump and jump take distance its better not to get hurt than killing them fast but you almost dead

I all ways go to the swamp and ONLY bring a axe and kill bugs

Synos are so good at gathering and collecting chitin

Dropped by every bug and couple of fish chitan can be used for taming archyarkterx

If you have a decent Baryonyx you can get a really good farm for chitin by going to the Artifact of the Hunter and just killing everything in the cave as besides Megalanias only bugs spawn

The ants and meganura are also a good way to get them

I don’t understand why it says the hatchet is better than the chainsaw but when I use a metal hatchet on a trilobite I get about 170 chitin, switch to the chainsaw and there’s over 500 for me. I’m on 2.5x

Bro, just dive into the swamp water and you will have maginuras all over you. This+metal hatchet=chitin 4 days.

why do yall need chitin for besides cementing paste and saddles
