Do a few laps around carno island with anything that gathers chitin and you'll have plenty

Go to the bug cave on the island get a megathium kill the bugs but harvest with a frog

I think using griffins to collect this item in ark mobile sucks one if your taming a griffin to get this item and the griffin will take almost a 2 days to tame and constantly wake up and will be faster if you use a x10 or x5 taming cream and now they only eat prime meat! Which rots very fast so use a raptor to your advantage!

These are just easy resources to obtain if you dont have sabertooth or direwolf just bring a bow or reccomend crossbow and just shot every last one of bugs in the cave and just use hatchet to get this chittin you will get lots of it if bugs gets near you just jump and jump take distance its better not to get hurt than killing them fast but you almost dead

If your on scorched earth or a map with mantis’s, kill them with an argentavis. Each will drop around 400 chitin along with some organic polymer

For starters tame a DireWolf and then go to the cave in the middle, please trust me you get 2000 or more chitin I had a wolf that was lvl 208 and it got alot in one run
