It can also temporarily have wild carntosaurus's fight with it so remember war cry a carntosaurus with a tamed yuturannus

So useful. A debuffer, a buffer, a fighter. You name it, yutys are good at it. (even gathering poop as their roar makes small dinos poop!)

People say that Yuties are only good for buffing your Rex army, but actually they are very good for combat on their own and can scare away Raptors, Troodons, Microraptors and even some larger carnivores when you’re out exploring.

If you set them around your base on aggressive turret mode they will scare away pretty much everything except a rex or giga.

Can roar to energize other nearby tamed creatures. Hurray for roaring rex chicken of doom😆🐔🦖

Wyverns are NOT immune to yutys roars, despite how many people think this. I know for a fact if a level ten yuty roars at my level 350 poison Wyvern she will spend the next twenty seconds flat out sprinting away. Maybe it's different for fire Wyverns and lightning wyverns but I haven't tested it. Just wanted to warm people who thought they could lure a yuty into a trap with a wyvern like me... It's not gonna happen.

Best creature for getting extraordinary kibble

Gigas and carchs are affected by its roar. Breed a bunch of them if you can, and terrorize tribes with a army or angry powered gigas and carchs.

They are really good for bosses all you have to do is bring 19 rexes and or spinos and one yutty and ride the yutty and that should be a perfect team to take on bosses. It’s a shame they don’t exist on mobile that would make the game much easier

Interestingly enough, using Carno’s with a Yuty is just fine but when you command a group of four Daedons and a Yuty, combat gets interesting, have two pigs set to heal and watch the havoc ensue.

Beware that while it has the same base stats as the Rex, it has horrendous attack speed, which results in very bad DPS. The Yutyrannus is mainly a support Dino, so pump mainly Hp and stamina (Stamina only needs to be pumped if you plan on manually riding and buffing).

Yuty's are almost the perfect ground tame for rampaging (outclassed by shadowmanes and so on) and the perfect tame to bring into a boss fight as a support, but because of their ludicrously slow stam regen, you're better off not using them in really dangerous environments or in the ocean unless you mutate their stam to high hell or plan to sit still for 25 seconds after 3 or so fights

Courage roaring at a wild Carno once will make it attack you, courage roaring twice will befriend it

Don't fly near this guy, as his roar will make the mount go ballistic.

Fear causes dinos to run away, be uncontrollable and take 50% extra damage. If the ring is not maxed out, dinos can be controlled but deal 50% less damage and still take extra damage. Courage causes allies to take 20% less damage and deal 25% more damage, and temporarily allies up to 3 wild carnos for a minute. You cannot courage roar wild alpha or astral carnos.

These things are very useful to have in a boss fight.

Make sure to have a high level though as otherwise THEY WILL DIE.

Yuty and therizinos were born for each other! One boost while the other just shreds, they kill anything except flyers.

They can scare your dinos with their roar. When scared, they go out of control, you can’t do anything about it. But it has no effect on Wyverns, so use a Wyvern if you wanna tame this fluffy dude.
