The yuti's roar will not affect players, only dinos

I use an argy pack to farm alphas/thyla claws/spino sails. When encountering yuty send 5 good argys at it while staying out of range and they will shred it. Watch out for gigas while farming the north. A level 15 giga 2 hit killed an argy with 10k hps.

Great for boosting your rexes during a boss fight.

Spawns all over the tundra and arctic so be careful when traveling through those areas.

Fun to tame and hard to kill,.can recruit alpha carno. Best way to kill is with allosaurs, the bleed can separate it from the carnos. This is very useful for taming, as long as you don't find another, they kill each other when wild.

Maximum size of creatures it can fear roar is rexes, which are just as hard to tame

Yuty always has a couple Carnos with it so tameing it’s extra hard and plus the is a less than 1% chance for one of the Carnos to be an alpha but once you take it it’s a beast ow you can Easley just make a trap for it and the Carnos have a small chance to turn on the yuty.

When taming a yutyrannus USE A TRAP, they scream at u, ur gonna be sorry. Also some people tell me "Dont use traps there a waste of time, tools, and stuff so never use a trap" If ur one of those people, let me just say I gave u a warning of USE A TRAP it's worth it ;)

This furry bastard can mess up any trip through the snow biomes, make sure to look for them and fly a good 10 miles away as they will blind you and make your creature have a mind of its own.

Can spawn with alpha carnes on rare occasions

Most I've encountered had alpha carnos with it. Sometimes they don't even follow the yuty. Best bet is to kill the alpha first if you can.

Flying around in the north? Watch. Your. Stamina. After the flyer nerf, not watching stamina can get you killed if a bunch of these are around. I was scared as all hell getting a red drop when the yuty was over 30m away

Me: sees a yuta

Yuta: dinner

Me: (takes out pump action shotgun) baamm

Yuta: dies

Me: you know this one shots you, nothing can take me dow...

Wolf:kills me

Me: duck you wolf

⭐ Boat traps are the best traps... I went hunting for a mammoth, but got chased by a Yuti instead... She ran right up the ramp and into my trap, a 3×2×2 (l,w,h) boat trap, complete with a gen and a fridge... I sail around searching for jellyfish and collect biotoxin, then throw it in the fridge with meat, prime meat and berries... I was surprised how slowly her Torpor drained... The trick is definitely going to be TRYING to catch a male now... 😅

If you're out on a bird and see one of these, don't do your usaul trick of flying up to it to investigate... your bird will lose its sh*t! By that a mean you will lose all control of it for x amount of time.

Wouldn’t it be cool if you got seven carnos, carnos control raptors if that were a thing and the a yuty. You would have an army

If you're on a flier, you can kill it by flying above its back. That way, if it roars you won't be affected by the roar so you'll still have control over the bird. I tested it on my argy and successfully killed the yuty without losing control.
