Using a small trap can help with the knockout process as they get distracted very easily.

The Yuty is a absolutely unit not only is it fast and strong it actually is very agile and can turn faster than any other killers of it’s scale. Turning might not sound that cool but trust me nothing is mad sad than loosing a rex because a carno was stuck up its butt.

Kill carnos first then tame yutyrannus it helps a lot

Net and build a trap with x3 Dino doorways and x2 gates around body. Then KO with tranq darts or narc arrows.

PS make sure their feet are inside the trap as they can stand up outside your trap.

Sometimes, you might unfortunately stumble upon a yuty with a alpha carno. I learnt the hard way.

To tame a Yuty I use gigant doorframes (4-6 depending on how daring you are) and 2 Doors to keep on the outer frames. Kill off the carnos and lead your Yuty into the line of frames and trap it by closing the last gate. The best is that the trap can stay after taming if you would need another Yuty since they are easy to lead with a flier as long as you keep a distance, if you use vanilla structures you can pick everything up again to place again. Also remember! Yutys are slow eaters and will need narcotics so bring a bunch to be safe and have something that can Hunt prime Meat while it tames.

Bring a thyla to chase and knock out then use the thyla to protect them

Get a creature that can move faster than a Yutyrannus. I recommend a Thylacoleo with some levels into speed (since he can climb up the mountains and defend himself.) Start tranquilizing the Yuty. Most of the time he’ll be distracted by other creatures so he’ll be pretty easy to tranq. Once he starts running chase after him and shoot simultaneously. Once he’s knocked feed him some meat to tame.

When you encounter one, the best way to trap it is with a snowy owl. You need to freeze the yuty and have a tribemate put 5 Dino gates around the yuty. Then you can knock it out

I feel like this is a given but do NOT use an argy to try to lead it into a trap it will just get freaked out and youll lose control of your bird.

Rather build the trap large enough to hold both a rex and the yuty (make sure the rex has impeccable health just in case) and then lead the yuty in the trap and stand on the ramp just close enough to cryo your rex. Also make sure your rex is on passive or your yuty will probably die.

I would say that I know the best way to tame one, all you need is:

4 stone gateways

4 stone gates

1 large bear trap

You will need to place the gateways in a square shape and leave just a small space between each, then put a large bear trap in the middle, now you will need to shoot the yuty and sit just behind the bear trap.

Once the yuty gets close you will need to back away a bit, the yuty should get stuck in the bear trap, now that it's stuck you should place a gate on each of the gateways so that it can't get out, now all you need to do is shoot it with tranqs through the gaps I told you to leave, and, boom you have a yuty!

Here I am, making my character super fast. It wasn’t till I encountered a yuti in peaceful town USA with an alpha carno in tow. I died so quickly. I tried to lure it into my trap, it avoided it and came around the outside to hunt me down like the ignorant caveman I am. :(

For those who keep asking what are X dinos, these can only be found in genesis part 1. They are specific to each biome and come in amazing colours and seriously crazy stats. Not all dinos have X variants so keep that in mind. Also if you go into genesis part 2 you can find R variants of certain dinos. Once again they have amazing colours and crazy stats. You are welcome..

P.s you cannot cross breed regular dinos with X and R variants, they count as a completely new Dino.

4 Stone gateways with 2 gateway doors is all you need to trap one, just put them in order with tiny gaps so you can get out.. put the first door on and then go and shoot him, get him after you and as soon as he in, put the second door behind him and go out the gaps, easy as can be 👍

What you have to do is bring 4 metal billboards and 3 large traps 🪤 next get the attention of the yuty by shooting with a tranq. Then run in the trap that you made and place the large traps quickly next once the yuty is stuck in the bear traps place a bear trap behind the yuty so it’s trapped. If carnos spawn here is how to deal with them make a stone tower or 2 stone pillars and a ladder 🪜 next idk if carnos go bye bye after you tranq out the yuty put if they don’t and you have to kill em bring a high lv dienocus (idk how to spell it) becuse its bite hit box is small unlike the gigas so it want hit the yuty and bam place the mutton in that bad Boi and u got yourself a yuty enjoy 😉
