Sometimes you just gotta abandon trying to get a specific one because the AI will trip out and you'll have 30+ stacks and it won't dive you even outside the 2x2 trap. It will either jump in the air but not attack or run around in circles until you lose aggro. I lost two hours trying to get my first one and it only dove about 4 times in that entire attempt. I've run into broken ones like this every now and again but for the most part they will act as they should. I was using the same trap for every instance so I'm assuming it might be the individual AI.

Stegos can root them either by hitting them while in "heavy plate" mode or by impaling them.

Theoretically you should be able to trap one with another player's help with a heavy swing followed by holding an impale while the other player builds around you, but the stego stands a good chance of killing it by accident.

If you can use It for caving, Just use, the AllowCaveFlying in person, or creature, i think.

Literally another dino that you have to jump through loops for just to tame... and it's an early game mount.

This better just be a regular knockout tame wildcards making all the new tames waaaaaay to complicated. I mean getting a cocktail and getting certo to drink ur drunk blood. cleaning leaches with an icthy for hours.

Getting eggs to distract the mom giga raptor so u can dance with its baby’s in a nest. blowing it up while it’s sleeping then bashing it’s head into rocks forever and still make it wait so it can eat ur stuff. Killing ur tame than fighting countless hard vultures to protect the creature than maybe tame the creature. Seriously wildcard why why why why why

If you dont want to be annoyed and lose your stuff, don't even attempt taming these. Since release they have been so buggy to tame. The z fruit doesn't even stun it half the time and its dives are inconsistent.

I've tamed many and learned alot with yi ling. One of which were a climb up toward of the wall. It sounds weird but I will try to make the explanation make sense. First, you are going to need to climb on to a surface, then you are going to jump off of the wall, then try to go back on the wall while looking up, and once you've practiced enough, you'll master it. Sorry if my explanation did not make sense, I hope this helps tho!
