Journey: Chapter 3
Forest woke up before their was light out to watch the sunrise, he was suppose to meet the rest of the five at the green obelisk to converse and to do a surprise that he had set up for all of them.
Before he left the cave though, he went into the small cave where one thing hadn’t changed. The plant, it was still alive and thriving in the cave. He quickly grabbed a leaf without hurting the plant.
Looking at the leaf. Forest kept remembering how he left without telling any of his family the first time, he wasn’t doing that again ever. He told his parents that he was leaving in the early morning to go to the redwoods and would come back the day after the celebration.
The five were going to stay in the castle from today to the day after the celebration at Prince Coal’s request. Forest knew he would see his family at the celebration. But for some reason, he felt today would be the last he would see them in a long while.
He shrugged off the feeling and got packed, he packed the rune as it was part of the surprise. He quickly looked at each of his family members before leaving and then he went up to watch the sunrise.

A large, feathered dinosaur stood atop one of the grandest mountains that graced The Island with its presence.
Gulf gazed at the immense island that stood below his feet. Although he and his mate lived around the Northern Plains, from the mountain he stood on he could view nearly everything. Redwoods, Grand Hills, Western Approach, Western Plains, Fars Peak, he could see it all.
Perching atop the mountain— Winter’s Mouth— Gulf felt especially powerful. Up there, nobody could really tell him what to do. He’d only let his mate and the giganotosaurus order him around. After all, what could a yutyrannus like him do to the most ambitious dinosaur on The Island?

Everyone just knew not to mess with the gigas. They were mostly solitary dinos, and nearly every mountain was owned by one giga or a small giga family. The only mountain that wasn’t owned was Red Peak, the redwood mountain. Most gigas were quite generous with their mountains, as they knew it was many other dinosaurs’ habitats as well. Plus gigas need to eat. But generally they disliked friendly company.
Taking a deep breath, Gulf let out a loud, deep roar. As it rang through the air, he saw a couple of traveling carnotaurus lift their heads to look at him. They gave a roar in return.
Carnos and yuties were pretty much an allied species. If the yuties called for help, nearby carnos would aid them, vice versa.
A grumble behind Gulf made him turn around. To his surprise, Gnolo the giga was watching him with an irked expression.
“On my mountain again, Gulf?” He growled. “You know to stay off of Frozen Fang, especially off my cliff.”
Frozen Fang. It had taken Gulf a moment to figure out what he was talking about. Winter’s Mouth used to be called Frozen Fang. The giga that had owned Frozen Fang before had renamed it to Winter’s Mouth, then had mysteriously disappeared, quite recently.
“I…. didn’t know we were still calling it Frozen Fang,” Gulf said awkwardly. He was trying to avoid making the giga mad. A mad giga was something he didn’t want to deal with at that moment.
“My mountain. My name. My rules. Off.” Gnolo grumbled again. Gulf gave him an apologetic shrug and awkwardly scooted past him and made his way down Winter’s Mouth.
As he hopped down the mountain, he couldn’t help thinking about the disappearance of the last owner of Winter’s Mouth. Her name was Halbeth (silent h). She was a kind giga, a very rare thing to come across.
When he had asked the argentavis about her, they had said they saw nothing. Which was strange, because usually the argents see everything. Although they had mentioned something strange in the works.
Valo—one of the argents— referred Gulf to a griffin named Ghinomir. Most of the griffins lived on Fars Peak. He had said Ghinomir knew more about everything than anybody. Gulf didn’t entirely believe that, but there was only one way to find out.
He knew his mate would be back at their nest with their eggs. Rift will be fine. Gulf assumed. She knows how to defend herself. A quick trip to Fars Peak and back is only a day or two’s time, anyway. The eggs aren’t due to hatch for another week.
With that in mind, he set off for Fars Peak.

One day there was an Albino Gigantopithicus called Jared playing with his friend Cheets The Dire Bear. And a mysterious human came over looked at Cheets and left. Later Jared found Cheets or his body stuffed full of strange green pointy sticks. Jared told all of his friends and that is how that one broken cave on The Island was created.
