Tips & Strategies
Hey everyone, please please please do not be like me. I made everything I needed to tame a regular wooly rhino as a noob when in actuality I was taming an x rhino, and it didnβt work out well! So, when you are lookin at the number of tranqs you need and the chance of death, make sure it is on the right creature! That means for an x wooly rhino select x wooly rhino so that all of your tame meters are on point and you arenβt desperately running back to base because you didnβt have any more tranqs OwO

The heart near the health bar isn't a rage meter like the giga it's a momentum meter for his charge and when it stop flashing and stays a solid red that means it's fully charged
GET ONE NOW! THEY ALMOST ONE SHOT EVERY ANIMAL A GIGA IS THO ONLY DANGEROUS THING AGAINST HIM. AN ALPHA REX IS STILL A BIT DANGEROUS TOO BUT ALPHA RAPTOR ONE SHOT AND ALPHA CARNO SOMETIMES TOO!

If you tame a high level and upgrade melee and stamina it is possible to enrage a giga with only a few full speed dashes
If you ever want to tame it remember to trap it or be in a high area
Cause they do alot of damage
And if your thinking on bringing a metal shield it will die in three short charge hits
Knock these things feed berrys make sure your protected and get narco berrys or narcotics soothing balms if in mobile
Or that red liquid in Xbox pc PS4 but not in mobile and tame him put him at your base and try killing a bronto with this to add some levels ππ»so people see this
1. Have a high ground to not get hurt or possibly killed by it because it is a aggressive creature once hit or attacks.
2. Have carrots, narcotics, and tranq arrows, to help with the taming process.
Very strong tame but is no good if your not riding it
Really dumb but effective trap method:
1- Craft at least 5 stone fence foundations and 5 stone doorframes. Put them in your hotbar;
2- Wait for the rhino to start walking in a straight line, and then place one foundation and doorframe infront of him;
3- Quickly place two more on his left and right side;
4- Complete the trap by putting the last walls on his back.
β’If any of the steps fail and the creature escapes your little cage, just pick up everything and try again.
β’Do this on a flat terrain to minimize the chances of the rhino climbing out of the trap.
β’You obviously dont need to snap the foundations to eachother. A crude wall arrangement will work so long as the rhino cant fit through the gaps.
