Just tamed a 135 on Ragnarok (Xbox) in the desert around 56, 61. Tip: shoot it a couple of times initially to lower its health then when you bola it it’ll start healing so it’s food drops really fast, I was able to get all of the feeds done and fully tamed it within about 30 seconds (using just one bola)

Buckle up kiddos. How to insta tame: after first bola beat tge crap out of it but do not feed it kibble let it heal which consumes alot of its food then on the next bola start taming takes a 1+hr tame to a 15min tame.

Dont feed right away. If u lower its health halfway maybe more It heals and drains food. Then feed and only got 10 second intervals of feeding

If you cant tame with bola then build a trap cage ...good luck

They spawn on any map on console, u need to bola them to give the kibble, I found 3 in less then a hour on extinction.

It bite u and get u in the air, so be careful.

I kited a 140 quite a distance and it picked me a couple of times, when I bola'd it, its hunger was half empty. Took less than 5mins to tame.

Try "exhausting" it before taming.

Took 35min in between feeds for 150

Have a 140 trapped fed it took around 45 mins to be able to feed second time and now on the 3rd and finally feeding its been around 30 mins and still not ready..be ready to wait.....

Dino gates, doors, chain Bola. Massive feeding gaps. You must Bola it to feed it. Let it hover in the gates, then bola when time to feed it. Try to find it on the ground, much easier. I would say more, but smart Arkers will figure it out.

If you have a trap and already fed it once you can check whether it's hungry or if it doesn't want to be tamed. Thats when you shoot it with a chain bola and give it food.

This will probably be a very op creature

Hurt it a bit so it’s good stat will go down a ton and you can almost insta tame it

Do bear traps immobilize these things?

I just LOVE this animal. Just please use extraordinary kibble it takes a long time for it to be hungry again. It isn’t very fast but hey the saddle makes you fast. Ok bye

Shoot it a few times and get its health to about a quarter before feeding it any kibble. Then wait till its food gets to half or a little below. Boom you got an instant tame now!

If you get lucky enough to find it walking on the ground you can wing flap it with a wyvern without it aggroing you and push it into your trap. Also if you bola it it pike it close to death and then wait approximately 10 min it works like a starve tame for quicker taming. You can get 3 feedings out of 1 bola this way.

Why does the kibble take so long?

I found one on extinction bola it then it says try the chain bola so I killed it

Have done this multiple times for taming. Works great and faster. Trap the bird, pike it once or twice. Wait couple minutes to self heal and bola, feed all at once. Perfect tame complete in 5mins or less
