Tips & Strategies

What are tips for tropeognathus? Tips and strategies for tropeognathus in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
One time I was in extinction and about to tame a gasbags but then I saw a trope in the wasteland
It says it takes an hour no it takes 15 minutes
People are trying to tame tropeos with regular bolas in order to feed the tropeo, you MUST a chain bola to feed it.
Don’t let ur Dino baby’s alone don’t let them alone they will die wenn u don’t feed them like every single baby Dino
Don’t fight unless a good lvl Carno Rex spinosaurus but no giga plus in pvp they can pick you off of your mount
Kibble takes 2x and longer to tame than prime meat
Do the net projectiles work on them ?
You can bola and net gun him to drain his food but to tame him you need chain bola.
Wait so your telling me these aren’t available in aberration.but for some reason it says it’s available on my Nintendo Switch
I found one on the island around the green ob.... pain to tame... wouldn’t go into the taming pen I made... so I died a ton. I saw a tip about chain bolaing them not feed them and then once they brake free bola them again and feed them for a easy tame. Worked beautifully for me. NORMAL BOLAS DO NOT WORK FOR TAMING, only chain bolas. Normal will stop them but you get a msg saying to try a chain to tame.
First off, you can use a regular bola on them. It will immobilize them like normal, however you still cannot feed them. You can only feed them when they are Chain Bola'd.
Second, the easiest and fastest method we have found is to trap them and then shoot them until their health is low, which will cause their food to rapidly decrease in order to heal the damage. Let their food get down past half, maybe even 25% and you can feed them once every 5 secs or so to tame them super quick. Good luck out there.
I saw one at the hidden lake on the island.
Not gonna lie these are actually pretty dang common on island a decent amount of them spawn near red ob and green ob
Grapple to it for easy taming. More effiecent than trapping
