They have identical spawns as the tapejara so go to the wiki page for tapejara to see where they spawn

Time between feedings is 25 minutes. Unless this is a bug. Harsh but true.

Build an argy trap, lure it in with rare flowers, but be careful it can dismount you. It will get pissed after your chain bola it so make sure to be far enough bsck or have a tribemate stand there with a riot shield while you passively feed it.

So, Crystal Isles isn’t out. I’m not even sure if it’s coming out for PS4. But this boi is!

All my knowledge in the following is for PS4.

Classic mount:

This dinosaur is decently slow, attack being pretty weak (R2). It IS used as a grinder, I’m just not sure how yet. It can also fly forwards, backwards, & side to side.

Saddled:

I must say, before I used the saddle I was a bit disappointed. It was slow, weak, and pretty useless. But...

Its’ saddle has a mounted gun, used with the Grenade.

It also has a jetpack/rocket booster, which clicking R/Right Joystick activates. If you then click R again, you do a fancy spin thing, hitting L2 fires Grenades, and holding R deactivates the Jetpack.

All in all, I’d say this creature was worth waiting for, and I give it a 10/10 for Raid Dinos.

Can only feed when it has bola on it, takes 30 mins to a hour each feed depending how much time it spends agro to you :)

Build a trap (they fit through dino gates) build balista near the trap. Now go find one bite it on wyvern just once it will come after they wyvern. Kitebto trap and land OPPOSOTE the balista and run to balista the trophy will attack the wyvern not you at this point. Then chain bola it feed it and run to your trap as soon as it gets up it will come.after you trap it and take away safely not once getting picked up

Found near redwoods river on island. Used tek suit and rare flower to take it to a trap with a chain bola balisata in front. Bola whenever it is hungry and feed it exceptional kibble. Passive tame.

For deactivaring the boost you must hold right trigger on controller.For the maneuver you must push right trigger.Somebody knows what the second attack do?

The cannon can destroy up to tek

Because if it’s dodgy damage for the turret, you’ll be running through grenades like crazy so you should pack a lot if you’re gonna go raiding.

They will grab you like a megalosaurus if you punch them so be careful!

Dossier implies that you will need a quetz with a platform saddle to tame.

Also a piscivore, so it will likely take fish.

The Tropeognathus saddle is probably gonna be unlockable at a high to very high level (level 55-80).

Really good to transfer one of these into sorched earth, ez to get around and best to get wyvern eggs.

Just a heads up, on Crystal Isle, only three wild tropes can spawn at any given time. There will only be one per biome; the tropical, ember, and jungle biome are where they spawn. They spawn mid-air and can either fall to the ground or stay flying where they spawned. They appear to not have a limit to how high they go. This is all for official spawns. It’s day 4 of writing this and I’m still looking. Also for private servers, tropes will take ages to respawn, so give it like 30 minutes until they show up. Hope this helps.

Just use prime meat, it’s quicker and you still get the good taming effectiveness

I’ve spent 17 hours looking for this thing with no result. Unless you have very good luck I wouldn’t bother searching for this tame

The tropeo can be carried by the megalosaurus, devs fix the info
