They are basically just an easy aerial dino that is quite easy to unlock. I recommend you upgrade stamina and speed as they are the best for Tropeognathus. Hope this helps

Put gas in inventory to fuel the jet. The tropeo can be used as an industrial grinder just put what you want to grind, click on it, and in the stats it will say grind. The materials will be put in its inventory. Also to fire the launcher put grenades in inventory then fire and you have an ultimate explody jet packy crystal jungle pteranodon

Shreds wyverns if you have a good saddle (pvp)

Do bear traps immobilize these things?

I just LOVE this animal. Just please use extraordinary kibble it takes a long time for it to be hungry again. It isn’t very fast but hey the saddle makes you fast. Ok bye

Shoot it a few times and get its health to about a quarter before feeding it any kibble. Then wait till its food gets to half or a little below. Boom you got an instant tame now!

Can the grenade break metal structures? I was thinking of using it to raid...

If you get lucky enough to find it walking on the ground you can wing flap it with a wyvern without it aggroing you and push it into your trap. Also if you bola it it pike it close to death and then wait approximately 10 min it works like a starve tame for quicker taming. You can get 3 feedings out of 1 bola this way.

Why does the kibble take so long?

I found one on extinction bola it then it says try the chain bola so I killed it

Keep an extra stack of gas in your inventory. This tame is very very slow when the jet engine is off.

On PvP servers, try to tame ones that match the color of the biome you are in! It really helps

Have done this multiple times for taming. Works great and faster. Trap the bird, pike it once or twice. Wait couple minutes to self heal and bola, feed all at once. Perfect tame complete in 5mins or less

Not even gonna lie this thing is so annoying but you can trap it they do attack if you hit them so trap them then bola and feed it's easier since your not shooting a moveing target

These are really good at getting wyvern eggs as soon as you grab one and have wyverns after you do the flip you’ll get away super fast

Use Extraordinary Kibble I stead of Exceptional Kibble. A level 150 only took 2 Extraordinary Kibble as opposed to 6 Exceptional Kibble.

Go on extinction in the city. There are a lot of them.

Can't be used to make base resources like normal grinder (stone>flint wood>thatch)

Bugged like all the other passive tames. If it doesnt appear to be loosing food points, better off killing and moving on.

Sat 2 hours for a 145, cued tame twice and no luck getting 2nd feeding.
