I have not seen any comments detailing the use for raids. It can outfly pteradons and wyverns plus any other flyer, and it is faster than the projectiles from the fire, frost, and poison wyverns. It is perfect for getting out quick if the counter raid was successful or if you need to get out quickly. Me and my buddy were raiding when we found ourselves outnumbered by two. Noticing our eminent defeat, we grabbed the heavy turrets and what we could. He got on and I grappled to it while whistling to my tera. It only took a second for him to put it into max speed and we were out of there. This is the perfect Dino for long distance transport and raid escape. Another thing is if you are losing a raid and you know itβs over, you can load the tropeo up and get out of there. You can make a second floor gate area where it is loaded up with base supplies and materials, and when itβs needed you can get out quick. This dino has a lot of flexibility in the game and with the saddle is very valuable.

I wish this was a predator. Like a sky giga. The sky is too easy in ark.
An ascendant version of their saddle is way too op especially in pvp. Against stone walls itβs like shooting a nuke at a pebble.
You can use their saddle as a grinder so you don't have to craft one

Tap R3 = Starts Jet / perform aerial maneuvers
Hold R3 = Turns of Jet
Tap L3 = adjusts jet thrust

Found a journeyman saddle in a red supply drop. It looks like better quality saddles boost the damage of the grenade turret ππΌ
If you want to have some fun
1 get a tropeo and saddle with gas
2 steal wyvern egg
3 hit the booster and fly through griffin valley
have some fun
I think im the first tip, the turret saddle will likely be very expensive πββοΈ
Single player uses:
1. Travel mount: Tropeognathus' speed without a saddle is slow af, but put a saddle and give it some gasoline and it's the fastest thing in the game.
2. Wyvern egg stealer: Seems obvious
3. Giga killer: The grenades can be slightly expensive with how many are needed, but Tropeognathus can kill basically any land animal in ark
Controls in PS4 with Saddle:
X-get to fly
R3-To start the jet with Gasoline
L3-To slow down the jet
Hold R3-To stop the jet
Double X-to keep enemies away by flopping the wings
L2- Shoot the grenade launcher
R2-Bite
On Air R3-To maneuver behind you
