Me and my friend play with each other on a server and we found this nice shallow area where they spawned like crazy so that was really nice for chitin oil and even some silica pearls ( we didn't need much then) but I guess we overhunted because we haven't found one in like 3 weeks despite us killing things near so more will spawn so we need a alternative chitin source (we were thinking scorpions) so yeah don't take them for granted
