Part 1/3: The Titanosaur Showdown
As the sun began to rise above the horizon, and its light began to engulf the island, sweeping away the darkness, the tribe of Nudon began to wake up. It was a big day for the tribe and a milestone in Sodden’s journey. As the sunlight flowed through the base, Sodden started to wake up. He rolled in his bed, trying to get up. He groaned as he got up, then rubbed his eyes and looked around. It was around 7 in the morning. 2 hours before he had to leave. He got up from his bed then slowly walked to the door, then went downstairs to the kitchen. Red stood near the cooking pot. “Oh, hey dude. Good morning to the survivor who’s about to fight a Titan and ascend in the same day!” Red said. “Yeah.” Sodden said. “My friends have been hard at work all night to make all the saddles and bring in all the resources. The Rexes are set up with their saddles.” Red said. He then went to the fridge and took out a bowl with some kind of food on it. “I made something for you. Gotta get the energy for such a big day.” Red said. “Oh, shut up.” Sodden said. “Like, I’m not kidding. You are fighting a Titanosaur, three bosses, and the Overseer, all in the same day. And while fighting off two very dangerous tribes!” Red said as he walked to the table. Sodden grabbed a water jar out of the fridge and walked with him. Then some more people came downstairs, yawning. “Well… we’re here. At last.” Rod said. “The day we leave.” Serenity said. “Well… Red, you got some more food?” Sodden said. “Absolutely.” Red said as he ran to the kitchen, then came out with a tray. It had a ton of food that he made, and he put it in the middle of the table. “Probably the best food in the Arks.” Red said. Sodden walked to him and patted him on the back. “Yeah. Let’s get ready afterwards, okay?” Sodden said. Red nodded. Serenity and Rod sat on some chairs on the right side of the table, and Sodden sat with them. Then more people came into the castle, and Sodden saw them walking towards him and Red. Red stood up just then then walked to Sodden. “Okay, um. I never really got to properly introduce you to my friends because we were so busy the past two weeks. These guys are some of my tribemates who helped massively with taming creatures and collecting resources.” Red said. Then one person came from the back and walked to Sodden. “Well, I’m glad to see you before you leave. My name’s Cal. The people who came with you on the metal run is besides me. That’s Rud, Tedan, Cendor, and Paul. They came with you to the metal run.” The person said as he pointed to the people to the left of Sodden. “My friend Dorack helped me tame Cato. Here he comes now.” Red said as he pointed to another person in black-colored flak armor and a small scar on his head walking to him. “Hey, dude. Is it cool if we join you?” Dorack asked. “Yeah, we do need people helping us with the Gigas. Bring extra tames if we need them.” Sodden said. “I have a few Thylacoleos. I didn’t have time to breed and raise a few, but they might still help a lot.” Cal said. “Oh, that’s good. But we can’t just throw out all our tames. We know what the Titanosaur can do. A good strategy would be that we use our Gigas to hold off Nameless and the C Tribe, then send in some sauropods to do some damage. I have a surprise ready for the Titan. Then Sodden could use a Thyla to get the last hits on the Titano. Using broth of enlightenment, the toilet boost, which is with the Bronto we’re using, and an explorer note, Sodden could absolutely expect to surpass Level 100 if he killed the Titan.” Red said. “That’s good. Uh, about the Bronto…?” Sodden asked. “It’s gotta wait until later. I’m not telling you.” Red said. “Oh, okay.” Sodden said. “Well, then it’s settled. I’m going to get the Bronto ready. The Gigas are already set out. Cal, Dorack, you two are coming with us to the Bronto. Rud, Paul, Cendor, you’re on the Rexes. You’re going to guard the base. Everyone else, you’re going with the Gigas.” Red said. “Yes! Joining the action with him.” Cal said. “I get to fight the Titano?” Tedan asked in excitement. “Well, what’re you waiting for? Get the Gigas ready! Get the Bronto ready. Let’s go!” Red yelled. He ran out of the castle, and Cal and Dorack followed him. Rud, Paul, and Cendor walked to the gates of the wall, went out of the gates, then got on the Rexes next to the gates. The rest of the group walked to the Gigas set up in a square formation in the breeding pen. They got on the Gigas and went out of the barn and out of the pen. The group went towards the gate, the group of 15, and the Gigas were set in rows of three, just outside the gate. “Well, now that everyone’s getting ready, what now?” Rod asked. “We just get some good breakfast then help with the preparations.” Sodden said. Rod and Serenity nodded, then Sodden turned back around to take some more food off the tray and into his mouth.
When it was close to 9, Sodden, Serenity, and Rod sat on their Gigas, behind the 15 Gigas already set out. Tedan sat on the Giga in front of Sodden, who sat next to Serenity and her Giga. The Rexes were spread in groups of 2 out across the walls of the base. The Plant Species X turrets were going to turn on the second the Giga army left the base. Behind the volcano, Red, Dorack, and Cal were standing on a Bronto, who had a platform saddle and a large metal base, a roof and some windows on the sides, with a door in the back. There were openings in the roof, and in them were turrets and cannons. On the front of the saddle, Red stood at an auto turret filled with stacks of ammo. He then saw a notification on his implant, and went to see that the army was ready to leave. Then Red gave a thumbs up to Cal, who sat on the main saddle, then he lifted the ropes and whistled, and the Bronto started walking towards the redwoods. The gate opened and the Giga army started walking out.
At Nameless, 2 hours before the Titanosaur Showdown…
There was a large Giga army, an army of 17, set out in a formation shaped like a Christmas tree, that faced down the Whitesky Mountain’s path down to the bottom. Cordor sat on the front Giga, with some other friends of his. Above him was a Quetzal, with a platform saddle, which had a metal base on it, a cannon in the front, and two large boxes, with all the cannon balls and the Titano saddle. “Okay, Hardor, are the cannons loaded?” Cordor called to the person riding the Quetzal. The person looked down. “Yeah. We’re set to go.” Hardor said. Cordor nodded and looked to the Gigas behind him. “Remember, 15 Gigas defending the Titan and 2 attacking anything that comes after it!” Cordor said. The person right behind him said, “Yeah, I get it! Are we going now?” He said. “Rad, shut up. We’re going in just a few seconds. I’m just looking around to make sure we aren’t missing anything. Bordon, are the saddles ready?” Cordor called to one of the central Gigas, and the person on it. “Yeah, they’re on the Gigas. All ascendant. We brought some extra cannon balls.” He said. “Good! Okay, let’s go. We got no time to waste.” Cordor said. Everyone nodded then the Gigas started walking down the path, through their groups in the formation, and the Quetzal led the leading Giga down.
C Tribe, 105 minutes before the Titanosaur Showdown…
On Far’s Peak, there was a Giga army on the base of the mountain, a little bit from the tribe’s base, and the Gigas stood in a position that formed a circle shape. There were 20 Gigas in the army, 19 in the circle formation and one in the center of the entire thing. Terad sat on it, and above him was a quetzal. On the Quetzal, there were 4 cannons, two on the front corners and two on the back, all on a stone floor set up on the saddle. “Toodon, are you ready to go?” Terad asked the person on the Quetzal. “Don’t call me that. And yes, it’s ready.” The person said. Terad looked to the Gigas in front of him, then yelled, “Donner, Tenard, the supplies?” Donner, who sat on one of the Gigas in the front of Terad, looked behind him and said, “Yeah, they’re all on my Giga.” Terad nodded, then noticed some blood on it. “Ternard, why is that Giga not fully healed? I thought you had healed him earlier!” Terad yelled. “I did! The amount of metal on him is hurting him! That’s what’s wrong!” Ternard yelled. There were a bunch of cannon balls on the Giga for extras, and since the C Tribe didn’t have as good saddles as Nameless (They were still pretty good, 71 armor. Nameless had 119 armor Giga saddles.), the Gigas were less resistant to weight. “Oh, fine! I’ll move the balls. If you care about your Giga so much…” Terad muttered as he hopped off his Giga then walked to Ternard’s Giga. Terad took out 20 balls and slowly walked to Grease, who had a very good saddle, a 103 armor, and put the balls in his inventory. Terad got back on, then he whistled, and the Gigas began walking to where the Titanosaur was.
Redwoods River/Swamp River intersection.
Time: 9:55 AM
Titanosaur location: On top of the cliff
The Gigas from Nudon had arrived at the cliff at the Redwoods river. They located the Titanosaur to be on the cliff, and they walked up towards it. They went through the trees to avoid being detected, and saw the massive sauropod walking around the place, causing the ground to shake and causing creatures to screech in fear and run away. The Titanosaur wouldn’t hurt anything. Until someone attacked it. The Gigas sat in the jungle, slowly walking to the sauropod, then Sodden caught another group of Gigas coming, along with a Quetzal. It seemed like a triangle formation. Sodden turned to Rod and Tedan, and said, “Guys. We got another group coming.” Rod and Serenity gasped and saw the Giga army coming. Sodden used his spyglass to look closer, and saw Cordor on the lead Giga. “Oh, god. Nameless is here!” Sodden whispered loudly. Then Serenity tapped his shoulder, then pointed to the right of the Titano. Sodden used his spyglass and saw a circle-shaped formation of a army. He saw Terad on his Giga, who was in the center of the circle. “They’re here.” Sodden said. “So what?” Rod said. “Well, we wait until the two tribes start fighting, then we’ll start our attack.” Sodden said. As Nameless’ Quetzal flew to the Titano’s head, Bordon aimed the cannon at the head, ready to shoot, then he saw another Quetzal coming. He growled then aimed at them, then fired. The ball smacked the base hard and Toodon was pushed back. He saw Nameless’ Quetzal right there. He got up and took out a rifle. He aimed it at the Quetzal. Terad saw the commotion and looked to see Nameless in front of him. “So we meet again.” Cordor said. “This is our Titan.” Terad said. “No it’s not. It’s ours.” Cordor said. “NO IT’S NOT!! You don’t even need a Titan.” Terad growled. “Yes, we do. We have raids planned.” Cordor said. Then one of the Gigas from C Tribe ran at Cordor’s Giga and bit him, then it screeched and smacked the other Giga off. Then C Tribe charged in and started crunching down Nameless’ Gigas. Or at least they tried to. The saddles were very powerful, and Nameless’ Gigas weren’t taking much damage. Cordor’s Giga bit into one of C Tribe’s Gigas, then it screeched in pain as it tried to bite back. Then some of C Tribe’s Gigas charged at Cordor, but Nameless sent in the back Gigas to attack. The Quetzals were shooting the cannon balls at each other, the balls smacked the saddle and created cracks in it. The Quetzals screeched in pain and then started flying down. Bordon’s Quetzal started attacking Toodon’s Quetzal, and Toodon launched a cannonball into Bordon’s Quetzal’s head, immediately causing it to screech loudly and flip over. Bordon hung from the ceiling of the small base and climbed in, then the Quetzal hit the ground next to the Titano, then Bordon walked out, took out a sword, and ran at the Titano, who looked back from the tribes, then stabbed its back leg with the sword, causing it to let out a large roar and then it growled as it turned around. Bordon ran to a Giga then got on it as it bit into one of Nameless’ Gigas, then went to the trees. The Titanosaur roared in anger as it stormed to the army. Cordor looked to see the Titanosaur coming. “Oh, you stupid idiot! Now he’s coming!” Cordor yelled. The injured Gigas started walking, then the Titano lifted its front feet, then the feet came down, slammed into the ground, causing a shockwave that knocked the back of C Tribe’s army into Nameless’ Gigas. One of them turned and bit into a Giga’s neck, then threw it across the cliff. There was blood all over the grass and both armies had very injured Gigas. Cordor and Terad’s Gigas, and their armies were pushing each other, biting the bodies and causing injuries. But no one paid attention to the Titano walking to them. The Titano lifted its feet again, and the Gigas ran north from it as its feet came down again, causing some Gigas to get knocked over. The Gigas got up, then as Cordor led his army around the Titan, a Giga came from the left of him and knocked it over, Cordor fell off, got up and saw Sodden on his Giga. “You! The one who took away so many levels!” Cordor said. The Giga got up, then Rod and Serenity’s Gigas ran out and sunk their teeth in it as they pushed it away from Cordor. Cordor yelled and ran from the Titan, and Sodden was about to go for him when some of Nameless’ Gigas bit Sodden’s Giga on the tail, making it screech. The Gigas pulled it to the Titan, then it lifted his feet, and when they came down, Sodden shot Nameless’ Gigas down with a rifle then ran on his Giga from the Titan as its feet created another shockwave. “That’s it! Kill the Titano!!” Terad screamed. His army nodded then ran at the Titan, and started biting it. Its back feet started stomping and pushing away the Gigas, and the Titano was losing health quickly. “No! We gotta get it! Gigas, charge!” Sodden yelled to the army in the forest. His army then ran from the trees and pulled away some of Nameless’ Gigas. The Gigas screeched and tried to bite Nudon’s Gigas, then the Titano’s stomp caused them to stumble and lose control of their bite. The teeth snapped on their feet, and they screeched in pain. It growled then ran at Sodden’s Giga. Then Tedan’s Giga pushed the Giga from Nameless away. The person on it fell off when the Giga stumbled. Rod’s Giga walked to that person. He got up and saw Rod’s Giga coming. “Oh, no. Please… I don’t want to lose my levels…” He said. “Well, you are on a tribe that tried to kill some of my friends, so…” Rod said. Then the Giga picked up the person, who started screaming, then the Giga ate him up. Then the person’s Giga screeched in anger and ran at Rod’s Giga, pushing it over and causing Rod to fall off. Then Serenity ran at the Giga who pushed Rod and her Giga bit the Giga’s neck, causing it to screech in pain. It tried to bite back, but Serenity’s Giga bit hard and it would not let go. As the teeth sunk deeper in the Giga’s skin, it started breathing hoarsely, then stopped moving. The Giga collapsed on the ground, and blood poured out of its neck and foot. As Cordor ran to the river, his Giga followed too. When he stopped, Cordor looked at his Giga and said, “That idiot is back. He’s trying to ruin everything! We must get him out.” The Giga then screeched. “No, I need the god shotgun to destroy Denine’s implant. I bet Red has it. But where is he?” Cordor growled. The Giga growled too then nudged Cordor. “What? Well, maybe he did leave it at the base. But it could be a trap. We gotta make sure we get past it all. There probably will be Rexes and Theris guarding the base. And maybe the Plant Species X turrets. We could use Brontos to tank them and destroy them. Yes. And the idiot will be too distracted with the Titano to notice!” Cordor yelled. He put his Giga in a cryopod then took out another cryopod. He threw the cryopod out, then a pteranodon with red blotches of dye on its head and a darkened right eye came out. “This is for everything you tried to do to me.” Cordor said. The pteranodon whimpered and Cordor got on it. The pteranodon couldn’t handle the balls on Cordor and started screeching. Then as he was taking off, something grabbed the pteranodon’s leg. Cordor turned around. “Wow. You really hate your tames, don’t you? What did they ever do to you?” Sodden asked. “That’s none of your business, idiot!!” Cordor screamed. The Giga holding the pteranodon’s leg pulled it down from the air and the pteranodon flew past the Giga and crashed into a rock. Cordor flew off, and hit his head on a rock, causing him to lost a lot of HP and when he got up, he felt dizzy. When he came to, Sodden rode his Giga to him. “You stupid.” Cordor said. “Well, I should probably put him out of his misery.” Sodden said as he looked at Cordor’s injured pteranodon, lying on the ground. Sodden hopped off and put his Giga in a cryopod. “Well, we meet again. Just like when I was at your old base. The one who destroyed my plan twice and took away 104 levels.” Cordor sneered. “Well, you’re the one who tried to kill one of my friends.” Sodden said. “Why don’t we end this right here, right now. Like how these armies are fighting each other and the Titano…” Cordor said as he pointed to the bloodied armies fighting each other and running from the Titano. Trees all over had fallen and there were a lot of grass patches that got blood on them. The Titano was starting to get bloody too. “We should do a 1v1 with our Gigas.” Cordor said. “This is just to stall me so that you can execute whatever plan you have.” Sodden said. “Just throw out your Giga or I’ll slice you up with my sword right now.” Cordor said as he put his hand in his bag. He took out a cryopod, and so did Sodden. They both threw the cryopods behind them, and their Gigas came out. Sodden got on his Giga, and Cordor got on his. “Oh, forgot one thing. You have a name for that Giga?” Cordor said. “Her name is Shelly.” Sodden said. “Hmm. My Giga’s name is Gunner. So Gunner versus Shelly.” Cordor said. “You just really like to stall? Let’s make this quick.” Sodden sneered. His Giga roared loudly and ran at Cordor’s Giga. It dodged then opened its mouth to bite Shelly, then she turned around and lifted her foot to trip the Giga. He stopped right before it then bit it, causing Shelly to screech in pain. She limped for a few seconds, then growled deeply as it ran around the rocks in the area. Gunner roared then ran at her. Shelly ran at him with her mouth open, as did Gunner. They ran closer and closer and was about to ram into each other. Then their heads collided, causing a small shockwave to launch and pushing away nearby trodons. Shelly’s teeth was on Gunner’s nostrils, and Gunner’s jaw sat on Shelly’s. Both the Gigas growled deeply, and Cordor shot a glare at Sodden. “Just die, you complete imbecile.” Cordor growled. “Hey! Language!” Sodden yelled. Shelly smacked Gunner and his head turned away. Shelly then ran and grabbed Gunner’s neck, then bit deeply. Gunner screeched in pain as he tried to shake Shelly off. Then she rammed Gunner into a rock, causing Gunner to become dizzy and Cordor to get thrown off. He hit the floor near the rock and looked up to see Shelly choking Gunner to death, her jaws sinking into his neck and his health detoriating quickly. “No… I have no choice. I can’t let Gunner die. Gunner, rage!” Cordor yelled. ‘What? NO! What if I…’ Gunner whimpered, then Cordor cut in. “I don’t care. I can’t lose you!” Cordor yelled. Then Gunner was about to push Shelly off when something started making noises. The ground shook and they could hear stomping, fast stomping. As if a stampede was coming. But when the trees fell and it leaped from the small cliff on the right and towards the Gigas, it was not a stampede. It was Red’s turbo Bronto. “Hey! Looks like me and Sonic got here in the nick of time! I knew all these months of training would pay off!” Red yelled. Sonic growled in agreement. Cordor looked to see the Bronto standing above him. “Oh, it’s you.” Cordor growled. “Oh! Hey, Sodden!” Dorack said as he waved out the window to Sodden, who sat on Shelly, who was trying to kill Gunner. Sodden looked at him and waved as he said, “Hey, dude. Maybe you can help your friends with the Titano?” Sodden asked. “Of course!” Dorack said. Red aimed a turret at Gunner then started shooting it. Gunner screeched as the bullets went through his body. He screeched as blood poured out and his health went down. Then a yellow glow started to appear in his eyes, and he shoved Shelly into the Bronto, causing it to screech, Then it lifted its feet and then came down, causing a boom to push Gunner off. He screeched as he started gnashing through Shelly’s body. Shelly got rammed into the wall and Sodden was forced to climb up the cliff when Shelly was propped up against the small cliff. Shelly screeched as her health started detoriating. But when the turrets kept pelting Gunner, he started to lose his grip on Shelly. He whimpered as he fell over, unconscious. Then the bullets stopped, and Shelly bit into Gunner’s body, and blood spurted out of him. Then, the dreaded red message appeared on Cordor’s implant. “Your Gunner (Level 311 Giganotosaurus) was killed by Shelly (Level 271 Giganotosaurus)!” Cordor fell on his knees, speechless. “Hopefully, that teaches him a lesson.” Sodden said. He hopped down onto Shelly’s back, and she screeched in excitement. “Yeah, you did good.” Sodden said as he petted Shelly’s head. “Let’s go help our friends.” Red said. Sodden nodded. He climbed onto Sonic then everyone except Cordor walked to the Titano, whose hits began to kill off some Gigas. Cordor fell on his hands, growling and panting. He felt despair and anger as tears appeared in his eyes. As if he had his own rage mode. “No… no… he can’t be gone. No…” Cordor hyperivilated, his breath shaking and his heart speeding up. He was growling louder and louder as he took out his sword then threw it into the ground. He then looked up and screamed in the loudest pitch, as if he was trying to deafen someone. “I will kill you, Sodden, and your stupid friends too!” Cordor screeched. He then yanked the sword out of the ground and stormed to the army. The Titanosaur was forcing the fighting armies to move further north, close to the cliff that led to the swamp. As Gigas from C Tribe and Nameless began to die, the Titano began to get very bloody. Cordor ran to Bordon, who sat on one of the remaining Gigas, who was injured and bloody. “Hey. What do you want?” Bordon asked. Cordor climbed up the Giga and stared Bordon in the eye. “We have a plan that should hopefully end Sodden’s life right now.” Cordor growled. “I’m listening.” Bordon said.
The Gigas that remained were biting pieces off the Titano’s belly, and its attacks were pushing off Gigas, some began to die. Nameless was down to 7 Gigas. C Tribe had 4 left, including Terad’s Giga, who was sitting in the forest with another one. Terad sat on his Giga with his friend. “I can’t believe this. Sodden came and ruined everything. I hope Nameless crushes him.” Terad growled. Sonic was running towards the Titano, and Sodden sat on the left turret, while Red was on the middle and Dorack on the left. Nudon’s remaining 5 Gigas ran from Nameless’ Gigas, who were crunching through their skin and bones, and went behind Sonic. The turrets went off and they kept firing. The Bronto ran past the Titano, turned around, and the Titano followed. The Titano was getting very bloody and hurt. Only 110,000 HP left. Sodden would need to use his Thyla soon. Then as Sonic got closer to the cliff dropoff, with rocks on the bottom, he started walking along the edge, leading the Titano. “Yes! It’s working! We’ll have our levels in no time!” Sodden yelled. Then Serenity and Rod climbed onto the Bronto. Sodden turned around and saw them. “Hey dude. We’re here to help!” Serenity said. “Wow. You really got that Titano hurt. We’re gonna be done in no time.” Rod said. Then suddenly, a cannon ball fell into the base, knocking everyone back and causing Sonic to shriek in pain. Sodden got up, then everyone fell down again. Sonic then fell over and crashed onto the edge of the cliff’s dropoff point. Sodden and the others took some damage, but they got up no problem. Then they saw a hole in the base, and when Dorack looked through it, his smile turned into a frown. He looked scared. “Oh, no. Guys?” Dorack said. The others looked and gasped as the Titano was standing above Sonic. Then they saw a Quetzal next to it, and Cordor and Bordon stood on it. “That’s what you get for killing my Gunner! Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to go kill Denine for good. She will not survive this time.” Cordor growled, then the Quetzal flew away as the Titano’s feet lifted. “NO!!!!! Brace for impact!!: Red screamed. Then the feet came down on Sonic’s foot, causing him to screech as he got launched back, and everyone in the base screamed as they got thrown around, losing HP with each hit. Then two people flew out, screaming. “NO! Dorack!” Red yelled. “OW!” Rod screamed as he hit the wall hard. Then Sonic crashed hard onto a redwoods tree next to the shore, causing Sonic to screech then crash onto the ground. The group hit the ground hard. Sodden fell out just then, unconscious and at 15% HP. Red came out and saw it. Red was heavily injured, and so was Rod. “NO! Den! Dude… please…” Red whimpered as he picked Sodden up. Then he looked around. “One, two, three, Dorack… wait. Oh, no! Where’s Serenity?” Red yelled. Then Sodden groaned as he sat up. He held his head, panting. “Oh, thank god I didn’t lose everything.” He said. He got up, but barely stood because his legs were injured. He crawled to the water, then as he was about to wash his face, he saw someone floating in the water. “Wait.” Sodden said. He took out a spyglass, and when he saw who it was, he yelped, dropped the spyglass, and immediately started swimming to her. Her armor was heavily damaged, she had a wound on her chest, and she was losing health. Sodden picked her up then carried her to the shore, but when he tried to, some piranhas came around. Sodden shook them off and went to the opposite side, then gasped loudly as he saw the Titano coming. He shot down the piranhas coming, but even that wasn’t speeding him up. Was this it? Ascension delayed, Serenity being gone for good, and nothing left? As the Titano inched closer, Sodden sat down, put a bandage on Serenity’s chest to slow the wound, then took out his bag. He gripped her tight as the Titano began to lift its feet. Then as it was about to attack, a cryopod opened from Sodden’s bag.
Journey Through All Creatures
Chapter 25a: The Titanosaur War
Part 3/3: Journey Through All Creatures
“Triceratops, Triloblite, Trodon, Tusoteuthis, Wooly Rhino, Xiphactinus, and Yutyrannus. These are the final seven. We’re skipping Unicorn because of how rare that is. I doubt I’d find one today.” Sodden said. “Yeah, we don’t really have the time for Unicorn.” Serenity said. Their Argies and pteranodon soared above the Island, flapping their wings towards the western shore. The sun sat in the middle of the sky. It was past noon by now and Sodden’s time on the Island was coming to an end very fast. He had some creatures to kill then he was going to fight the bosses. Then the overseer would be last. Ascension was near.
5 hours before Ascension…
Sodden and his friends touched down onto the shore of the west, near the hunting area. They put their fliers in their cryopods. “Okay. So what?” Rod asked. “There should be Trikes somewhere here.” Sodden said as he started walking along the shore. “Okay.” Serenity said. The group looked around for anything, and Sodden saw a pair of Trikes just near the waterfall. “Hey, guys. Over here!” Sodden said as he pointed to the waterfall. The others looked to the waterfall and walked towards the Trikes. Sodden took out a shotgun, and aimed it at the Trikes. Then when he was about to shoot, something leaped out from behind the Trikes and started pecking its beak on Sodden’s armor. “Oh, what! Get this dodo off of me!” Sodden yelled. Serenity tried to pull the dodo off, but its claws were sinking deep into the armor and pinching his arm. Almost as if he had the strength of a human. The dodo screeched and Sodden tried to push it off, but it kept attacking Sodden. Rod then tried to shoot it with the shotgun, then the dodo ran in front of Sodden and started pecking on his legs. Sodden leaped out of the way, shouting as he tried to shoo off the Dodo. “What kind of Dodo is this?! Is it a human dodo or something?” Sodden yelled. Just die, you stupid Dodo!!” Serenity yelled. She took out a sword then hit the Dodo in its body, and it screeched in pain. Then it fell to the ground. “You killed a Dodo (Level 20)!” “Only Level 20? What the heck?” Sodden said. “Whatever. It’s over, so let’s just move on.” Sodden said. The others nodded then walked to the Trikes.
“Uh, Serenity, what did you mean by, “timeline”?” Sodden asked. “It’s a long story. And also very complicated. We live in a large multiverse, with many different universes and timelines. But whatever. Like that even matters.” Serenity said. “I learned a lot about it. But it’s not really what’s important right now.” Rod said. They sat next to the dead Trikes, eating some cooked meat. “You’re right. It’s cool, though. Well, we got some other creatures to do, so…” Sodden said. “Yeah.” Serenity said.
After 10 minutes of eating, they walked over to the hunting area, shot down some Trodons that roamed around the nearby jungle, then walked to the shore. Serenity threw a cryopod into the water and a Mosa came out. It had a platform saddle on it, so that Sodden and Rod could ride it too. Sodden put on some scuba gear, as did everyone else, and they got on the Mosa. Sodden got on the reins and led the Mosa down from the shore. It dived deep into the ocean and towards the ocean floor. When they got to the bottom, they looked around the rocks and ocean floor for the large squid. Sodden looked close to the icebergs on top of the ocean water and saw a squid swimming around the floor, attacking some dolphins. “We found him.” Rod said. “Let’s get it.” Sodden said. The Mosa swam above the Tuso and then dived down, with its mouth open. Then it closed its mouth on the Tuso’s body, just above its tentacles. It screeched then tried to grab the Mosa. The Mosa pushed the Tuso down towards the floor. Th Tuso hit the floor, then it lifted its tentacles and grabbed the Mosa’s tail. The trio held onto the edge of the saddle as the Mosa got thrown around then the Tuso looked at it. The tentacles held it in front of its mouth, and its mouth was trying to bite into the Mosa. Sodden took out a sword, and leaped off the Mosa and swam to the mouth of the Tuso. As it tried to bite him. Sodden threw the sword into his mouth. The Tuso screeched as it started hacking on it and coughed blood up. The blood poured out into the water and the Tuso started choking. Then it made noises. Then the tentacles released and it let out a large burst of ink from its mouth, then started floating upwards. They had done it. The Mosa swam back up to the surface and the trio got off near the Arctic shore. They put on their ascendant flak armor and put the Mosa in a cryopod, then Sodden ran to a Wooly Rhino walking along the shore. He took out a shotgun then shot it six times. It didn’t die yet. The shotgun was a Mastercraft, with around 400 damage per hit. The Rhino was heavily bloodied, and Sodden took out a spyglass to check its level. No surprise why it didn’t die. It was a 150!! “HOLY HECK! A 150 Rhino! Dude…” Sodden said as he ran back to the trio. They climbed onto a nearby rock, and the Rhino ran at the rock. It was at 200 HP out of 2600. It wasn’t gonna be enough to tame it. “Okay… we need to get it out of this place.” Sodden said. “But how? We don’t have Quetzals! How can we carry it out?” Serenity asked. “We can’t. We just have to trap it. We can use the Mosa to create a trap for it, then carry it to a safe place where it can heal and then we can tame it when it’s done.” Sodden said. “Yeah, here’s the thing. We won’t see it again for months after today.” Rod said. “That’s true. Let’s do this. Anyone have resources?” Sodden said. “I do have enough for three gateways but only one gate.” Serenity said. “I have some more thatch and stone.” Rod said. He gave Serenity a pile of thatch, then some stone. “I just need some more wood for the second gate.” Serenity said. The Rhino huffed then walked away. “No, wait! We’re sorry for doing that. I didn’t check the level and that was a mistake. We all know you should always check the level of any creature you kill before you kill it.” Sodden yelled as he jumped down. The Rhino looked back. “We’re going to get you somewhere safe then my buddies will come to help you.” Sodden said. The Rhino had a large wound on its side, and it was bleeding out quickly. Sodden ran at the Rhino and put some bandages on it to stabilize the wound. Rod ran at a tree, took out a hatchet, and started chopping the trees down. The noises of trees falling startled some creatures, but nothing too bad. Rod gave the wood he got to Serenity, then she made the gates and gateways. She then threw a cryopod out into the water and the Mosa came out. Serenity walked towards the platform and put down the trap. “This is the only way we can bring you back safely.” Sodden said. The Rhino limped towards the trap and Serenity opened the gates. The Mosa was set low in the water so that the platform was the right height for the Rhino to get on without touching the water. He got into the gates and fell on his left back. Sodden put another bandage on him then Serenity closed the gates. “Wow. Never kill a creature without checking the level.” Sodden said. “I agree.” Serenity said. “My friend once found a Rex. He just shot it down, yelling about how his shotgun is too weak, which it was not. It took so long because the Rex was a 150 female. He learned that the hard way.” Rod said. “He should’ve checked.” Sodden said. “Yeah, he should’ve.” Rod said. Sodden walked to another rhino nearby, which was a low level. He reloaded his shotgun and shot it down. Then he walked to the Mosa and got on the main saddle, and everyone else did too. Then they led the Mosa down south from the Arctic.
After a while, the group arrived to the shore that was just south of the rocky underpass with rocks overhead. They set down on the spot and ran off their Mosa. Then, some Argies arrived just then. Tedan and Cal were on two of them. “Hey, guys! I hear you have a max level Rhino.” Cal said. “I like Rhinos.” Tedan said. “Yeah. I accidentally injured it because I didn’t check the level at first.” Sodden said. “Red once didn’t check the level of a Theri he killed. He regretted it instantly.” Cal said. “Okay, okay, just… let’s do this.” Tedan said. He and Cal hopped off their Argies, then put them in some cryopods. They walked to the Mosa, got on the platform, and set up a small station. “Okay, we’re good to go.” Cal said. “It’ll only take 20 minutes with the taming food, but there’s no telling how long it’ll take to heal.” Rod said. “Let’s just get the rest of the creatures.” Sodden said. Serenity and Rod nodded, then the trio threw some cryopods at the ground, then their fliers came out. They got on and took off for the Arctic.
When they got to the snow, the trio landed their Argies just besides the shore and put them in some cryopods. They walked to the water and Sodden put on some scuba gear then swam down into the water. He looked around and saw two Xiphactinuses coming at him. He took out a spare sword then as the fishes were about to grab his legs, Sodden stabbed the sword through their bodies, and then slashed the sword through another’s jaw. Both screeched then started drifting up. Both were only Level 5, so it was easy. Sodden came out and put his flak armor on. Then the trio looked around and saw a Yuty, with a small group of Carnos, running down the hill and chasing an Ankylo. Sodden took out his shotgun then ran behind a rock close to the Yuty. The Carnos were pushing the Anky, and it screeched as it tried to run, but it was too slow and it was getting bloodied. The Yuty screeched and energized the Carnos, then it picked up the Anky. It swung its tail at the jaw, making it screech in pain and drop the Anky. But the Carnos had pinned down the Anky and its tail wasn’t doing much. Then the Anky, pinned down by three Carno’s mouths, bashed its tail across the ground and onto one of the Carno’s foot, and it screeched as it fell over. Then it swung its tail through two other Carnos, breaking their bodies and knocking them out quickly. The Anky was bloodied, but so was the carnos and Yuty. “Oh, my god. Dude… what level is that Anky?” Sodden whispered in shock. He took out his spyglass and saw that the Anky was a Level 145 with a whopping 41 points in melee. In other words, a god Anky. “What the heck!? No wonder it’s tanking so much damage!” Sodden yelled. “That’s one heck of an Anky.” Rod said, looking through his spyglass. Soon, the Carnos were down, but the Anky had gone down to 20% of its HP and the Yuty was injured too. Sodden waited for the Yuty to let out its roar, then when it screeched loudly again and the Anky started running, Sodden ran from the rock, followed the Yuty from behind, then took out his shotgun and shot the Yuty down. The Yuty collapsed from all its injuries and died just after. The Anky swam out of water then just started walking like nothing happened. “Dude… we should bring home that Anky.” Rod said. “Yeah. Well… that’s it. All The Island creatures gone. That means all that’s left is the bosses.” Sodden said. “Yeah. It’s crazy how far we’ve come.” Serenity said as she walked to Sodden. Both stood on top of the Yuty corpse, with blood on the tail and the body face down on the ground pouring out. They looked to the sky and the obelisks. “Well… should we go?” Serenity asked. “Before I ascend, I want to visit my old base one last time.” Sodden said. “That sounds good. Where it all began. Almost 4 months to the day the Journey Through All Creatures began.” Serenity said. “True.” Sodden said. Rod walked to them, and they held hands. Then they walked towards the fliers, got on them, and took off. Rod went down to pick up the Anky. The Argy grabbed the Anky’s tail and neck with its talons, then lifted it up, and it screeched. “Don’t worry. You’ll be fine.” Rod said. They set out for Nudon just then.
“Well… that’s it. The end of The Island journey.” Red said, sitting next to Sodden at the table in the base. “Yeah. So… what now?” Dorack asked. “We will bring 18 Rexes, one Yuty, and one Daedon. We’ll travel to the green obelisk very soon.” Red said. Sodden sat with Serenity and Rod, and some of the others. “Me, Paul, and some others will be riding the Rexes. Sodden will be on the Yuty. The rest will be with the Rexes.” Dorack said. “Well… it’s settled. We’re leaving soon.” Sodden said. “Yeah. Okay. Get the Rexes. They’re set out in the base. I have the Yuty and Daedon.” Red said. Everyone nodded and walked out of the base. Sodden went to Red, and Red gave him a cryopod. Sodden took it and walked out. The Rexes were put in cryopods, then they boarded the group of 20 Argies set out next to the drop off barn. “Okay. I have all the tributes and artifacts. Are we ready?” Red asked, sitting on the front Argy. Everyone nodded. “Okay, then. We’ve grinded for this very hard. And now… wait. Where’s Paul?” Red said, noticing that one of the Argies had no rider. Then a message popped up on Red’s implant. “Okay. Denine just woke up. Do your boss fight. I’ll stay and help her.” Red nodded and whistled as he said, “Let’s GO!” Red said. The Argies took off and flew to the Green Obelisk for the Broodmother Lyrisk.
Journey Through All Creatures
Chapter 25a: The Titanosaur War
Part 2/3: The Denine Showdown
The cryopod opened and Fox came out. The Carcha stood over Sodden and Serenity as the Titano’s feet came down. Fox stood over the two and stopped the feet from crushing Sodden and Serenity. The feet stopped at the back of the Carcha, but kept trying to get down. Fox was shaking, and losing her strength. ‘Go! Save yourselves!’ Fox screeched. Serenity, who was unconscius and greatly injured, was carried by Sodden across the river as Fox held the Titano’s feet. Fox roared as she kept holding, but soon her back gave out and when Sodden got back to the unconscious Bronto, the feet crushed Fox instantly, the feet crushing her skin and blood bursting out of her. Then the dreaded red message known as the death message showed up. “Your Fox (Level 198 Carcharodontosaurus) was killed by a Titanosaur (Level 1)!” “Oh, no.” Red said. “You’ve had him for so long…” Rod said. Sodden fell on his knees and looked down at Serenity. The Titanosaur started closing in, then the remaining Gigas from Nudon came from the cliff and hit the water. They ran and started biting the Titano on the leg. It screeched, turned around, and started lifting its feet to crush the Gigas. The feet came down, injuring the Gigas, but they led the Titano further away from the group. Sodden held the bandage and pressed it down to stabilize the wound. Serenity then started to open her eyes. She looked around and saw Sodden sitting with her, stabilizing her wound. “Hey. You okay?” Sodden asked. Serenity was silent. She was stable now, but only half conscious. Sodden put his hand on her shoulder and looked at Red. “What…? He said. “You need to help her while I go kill that Titano. I need the Broth of Enlightments.” Sodden said. “Okay… well…” Red said. “I also need to go find a explorer note. Is the toilet still there?” He asked. “The toilet’s gone, but you could still just reach Level 100 with the other two.” Red said. “Perfect. But I need to hurry.” Sodden said. “Yes. You are getting off this Ark, no matter what. I’m not going to let anything keep you here. Okay?” Red said. Sodden nodded. Serenity opened her eyes again and lifted her head, and saw Sodden talking to Red. Sodden turned around and picked her up. “Oh, you’re here. Hopefully this doesn’t happen again.” Sodden said. He hugged Serenity then she limped to Red, who held her. “Stay with Red, okay? I’m going to finish off the Titano then I’m going to get back to Nudon.” Sodden said. Serenity nodded, then Sodden threw out a Thylacoleo, then got on it and rode it across the river. Sodden went towards the Titano, who killed all but one Giga. The Giganotosaurus was very injured, but the Titano had blood coming out of wounds on the neck and legs. It was at 40,000 HP. Sodden had to get it with the bleed attack three times then he could kill it with his sword. He ran towards the podium with an explorer note on it while the Giga fought the Titano, and used the Thyla to climb up until he got to the top. Sodden hopped off, then opened the box right next to him and he got a 2x boost. Then he took out a Broth that Red gave him and drank it. When he was done, he threw it down, got on the Thyla, and went back to the Titano. The Giga collapsed from exhaustion and injures, then the Thyla leaped onto the Titano’s back, and it screeched as it tried to walk around and throw it off. The Thyla’s claws then dug deep into the skin and it bit into skin deeply, and blood erupted from the wound. He then ran to the neck and did the same thing. The Titano was losing health alarmingly fast. The Titan’s feet started shaking, and Sodden felt the shaking. He realized the Titano was going to fall. It would instantly kill the Titano, so Sodden leaped off then threw a sword at it, and it was pushed deeply into the skin. The Titano let out one last roar as its feet lost the ground and it fell over, then crashed, letting out a huge shockwave and immediately pushing Sodden and his Thyla back. When they got up, they saw the message, “You killed a Titanosaur (Level 1)!” Sodden shouted in excitement and got back on the Thyla, then went back to Red.
When they got back, Sodden put his Thyla in a cryopod, and Red walked to him. “You did it. Now check your levels.” Red said. Sodden looked at his implant and gasped when he saw it. He had 3 levels. That meant he would reach Level 100 and do the Dragon fight. It meant it was time for the Ascension. But not yet. “Okay. I still need to save Denine.” Sodden said. “Oh, yeah. Well…” Red said, then he was interrupted by a ding sound. He looked at his implant and saw a message, which, unfortunately, was a death message. Two death messages. “Your Nuro (Level 291 Rex) was killed by Cordor (Level 40)!” “Tribemate Rud was killed by Cordor (Level 40)!” “Oh, no! He’s already there. Use the pteranodon, get the shotgun, and do not let Denine die!” Red yelled. Then when Sodden was about to get out his pteranodon, he saw a Giga running at him. Terad was on it. Then Grease stopped before Red and Sodden. Terad had no words to say. He was speechless. “Oh, hey.” Sodden said. “Go ahead and leave. I don’t care. But if I hear one thing… ONE THING that happens at Aberration that’s in any way related to the Ravage… You will be in huge trouble when you get back.” Terad growled. Sodden looked at Red, and he shrugged. “Okay, then.” Sodden said. Terad huffed then his Giga turned around to leave. Sodden threw out a cryopod and got on the pteranodon that came out. Then he set out for Nudon. Then as he was going, he saw Shelly on the ground, who had just woken up from being attacked by the Titano. He went down and put her in a cryopod. “Don’t worry. We’ll help you when we can.” Sodden said. He got back on his pteranodon and took off.
30 minutes earlier…
Cordor, Bordon, and his Quetzal flew to the river as the Titano pushed the Bronto off. They landed near it then Cordor got off. “Okay. Get our Argies. We will use our Brontos to destroy the turrets then I will run in and handle the Rexes. Then I’ll find the shotgun. You help the Brontos. I’ll do the rest.” Cordor said. “Yes. Perfect revenge plan.” Bordon said. “That complete idiot took 104 levels from me and the life of my favorite tame ever. Show no mercy!” Cordor yelled. Bordon nodded then threw out two Argies. Both were trained to go very fast. Cordor spent a long time training them, and now they were ready. Bordon and Cordor got on their Argies. Cordor whistled for the Quetzal to follow, then they took off for Nudon.
Rud and Paul sat on their Rexes, next to the gates. They were waiting for when something would happen. “I’ve seen some death messages. But Sodden managed to kill the Titano, so that’s amazing.” Paul said. “I know! Too bad he’s leaving for a while.” Rud said. “Wish I could join him.” Paul said. “You know, you could just ask.” Rud said. Then as Paul was about to respond, they saw some Argies coming. Then some cryopods were thrown into the base, and some Brontos came out. The turrets activated, then the Brontos started attacking the turrets. There were 4 Brontos, each attacking different parts of the walls. “Oh, god. They’re here!” Rud yelled. The Rexes roared as the Argies came down. They ran at them, then the Argies started swooping around them, scratching their bodies. The Rexes screeched as they tried to grab the Argies. But the Argies were so fast, and the Rexes couldn’t turn. Then one of the Argies hit Rud’s Rex in the head, causing a large crack to appear and the Rex to screech in pain. Then it collapsed from the damage. Then Cordor threw a sword in its head and the death message appeared. Rud ran for the gates, but Cordor jumped off his Argy, hit the ground, and ran for him. Cordor grabbed Rud and stabbed him in the chest. He let out a gasp of pain then collapsed. “NO! Dude… you’re joking, right?” Paul said. “Let me in, or you’re next!” Cordor yelled as he pointed his sword at Paul. Paul had no choice. He couldn’t lose more Rexes. He just had to hope Sodden got here soon. He opened up the gates and Cordor ran in, along with Bordon. They set their Argies down outside the walls then went in. “Please, dude. Get here now.” Paul said.
Cordor and Bordon ran in the breeding barn and looked through chests. Cordor reached in the carnivore troughs, then felt some metal. He yanked it out. It was the god shotgun. “Oh, yes. Finally. Now I can complete what I wanted to do.” Cordor growled. Bordon ran from the storage room holding the kibbles for imprinting and walked with Cordor to the castle. As the Brontos held off the turrets and took the hits, Denine saw all the commotion. “Oh, no. Dude, you need to hurry.” Denine gasped. She ran downstairs and towards the basement where the vault was. She looked around for the secret entrance, then heard footsteps. “I know she’s probably near that secret hiding place.” Cordor growled. Denine gasped then quickly jumped behind a cabinet. Cordor and Bordon approached the pile of poop, where the secret entrance was. “It reeks in here of turds and tribemaster. I know the secret place is here. Let’s get it on.” Cordor said. He threw out a cryopod and a dung beetle came out. It started pushing the poop out of the way. Denine ran upstairs while no one was looking and went into the kitchen, where she hid in the pantry next to the door. When the dung beetle was done moving all the turds, Cordor could see the vent that led down to the vault. Then, Bordon started looking around. “Hmm. Something reeks, and it isn’t the turds.” He said. “Come on, I know she’s in here.” Cordor said, then Bordon grabbed his arm. “That’d be too obvious. She knows a ton of hiding places in the base. We only know this one.” Bordon said. Cordor turned and grinned. “That is true. Let’s find her and end her.” Cordor said. Bordon nodded. Cordor put the beetle in a cryopod then he and Bordon walked upstairs.
Denine was quiet, sitting in the kitchen pantry, then Cordor and Bordon came and started looking around the main room. “There’s a lot of rooms in this base. You take the first floor. I’ll take the second and third.” Cordor said. Bordon nodded. Cordor walked upstairs and Bordon started looking around. He ran to the forge room, and looked in the cabinets, under the smithies, but all he found was a ton of metal and stuff. “Hmm. Maybe I could steal one of their god weapons. Oh, wait, we don’t need anything. We already have the shotgun. Silly me.” Bordon sneered. He walked out of the room. He walked towards the kitchen. “Obviously, they cook great food.” Bordon said. Denine gasped and stayed on the side of the door, out of sight. She covered her mouth as Bordon walked into the room. “The best food in the universe. Maybe I could steal one of their recipes. Ah, maybe later.” Bordon said. He looked behind the cooking pots and the small cabinets. Nothing. “Hmm. Maybe it’s in the pantry.” Bordon said. Denine gasped and looked around. Bordon reached for the door and opened it. He saw nothing. “Okay, then.” Bordon said. He closed the door. Denine came down from the top shelves and stayed on the walls. Bordon walked out of the kitchen and towards the forge room. Denine sighed in relief. Bordon looked behind the industrial forges set across the room, and walked towards the back door where sometimes, extra Ankies could dropped off for easier metal delivery. It was way smaller than the barn, though. Bordon looked at the ceiling and then walked to the door. Denine ran towards the room where the artifacts were held, which was next to the forge room. She hid behind the hole in the wall where the extra cryopods were. There was a map of the Island covering the hole. Bordon walked to the room, then looked around. “Artifacts… what about extra tames for your stupid ascension? I don’t even care if you leave as long as Denine is no more.” Bordon growled. Denine stayed silent in her hiding spot, then stood against the walls, but when she did, she felt a deep pinch in her shoulder and gasped in pain. She looked to see a sharp spike in the wall that had punctured her shoulder. She held her shoulder as she sat down. Bordon then walked to the door, then looked around. “Oh, you think maps fool me?” Bordon growled. He stormed to the map and tore it down. Bordon grabbed Denine’s arm and yanked her out. She tried to run, then Bordon grabbed her neck and took out a sword. “Cordor! I got her.” Bordon yelled. Denine screamed as she tried to let go, then Bordon pointed the sword at her chest. “You’d better shut up.” Bordon growled. Cordor heard the struggling and screaming from downstairs and ran down to where he heard it. Outside the castle, Rexes were tearing down the Brontos, but the Brontos’ tails were doing some damage to the walls. A few holes appeared and most of the turrets were gone. The Brontos kept whipping their tails, pushing away the Rexes, but the Rexes kept biting and their teeth went right through the Bronto’s skin. They started to collapse from the injuries. In the castle, Cordor walked downstairs and Bordon threw Denine onto the ground. She tried to crawl away then Cordor grabbed her by the collar and held her on the table. Denine took out a sword and tried to hit Cordor off, then he blocked it with the shotgun and Bordon grabbed her left arm. Denine screamed and tried to kick them away, but they held her down and did not let go. She kept screaming and kicking, but Cordor did not budge. Then Denine kicked Bordon’s leg, and he leaped off and let go, then Denine leaped at Cordor and grabbed the shotgun. She turned it away from her chest and the trigger was pulled, and it destroyed a part of the walls. Cordor pushed Denine into the forge room then Bordon ran at her to hold her, then Denine hit him away. She swung the sword at Bordon, and he dodged, then Cordor took out his sword and grabbed Denine. She grabbed Cordor’s neck and threw him at a forge. Cordor got up and growled. Then Denine threw the sword at him and he dodged, but it hit the forge’s fuel tank. It started leaking, then they saw sparks. Bordon ran from behind and pushed Denine onto the forge, then Cordor grabbed her neck and held her down on the forge. “Time for you to die.” Cordor sneered. “NO!” Denine screamed. Then Cordor threw the shotgun at Bordon and he caught it. Denine kept hitting Cordor and trying to make him let go. Then the fuel tank started making crackling noises. Cordor took the sword out of the tank with his right hand and put it in his bag, Bordon grabbed Denine’s left arm, and she tried to pull it away. She swung it over Bordon, but he wouldn’t stop pulling at it. Bordon pointed the shotgun at Denine’s implant, then suddenly, something hit him in the head. Cordor got thrown towards the other side of the room. Denine dropped to the ground, gasping and holding her neck. Sodden picked her up, then turned to Red, Paul, Dorack, Serenity, and Rod, who stood besides fthem. Then Cordor got up and pulled the trigger on the shotgun. It thankfully missed everyone, but hit the forge, immediately puncturing the tank, then suddenly…
KABLOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The sound caused ringing in the group’s ears as they got knocked back into the main room. The forges had exploded, and the forge room was gone. All that was left was a massive hole in the wall where the forge room used to be and a crater next to it. Sodden got up, his head throbbing and ears ringing, then he looked around and saw a lot. Most of the group was above half health thanks to their great flak armor. Denine and Bordon, however, was wearing some riot armor and fur armor, which had way less resistance. Their armor was ripped up and they both had very low health. The group got up fine. “Oh, my god. What…” Red said weakly. He got up, as did everyone else, then gasped at what they saw. The forge room was gone. Cordor was nowhere to be seen, and Denine and Bordon were both unconscious. They checked their tribe logs with their implants and they did not see Cordor’s death message. He had somehow survived but probably was dangerously low on health. Denine was laying outside the hole, and Red ran to her. She was at 19 HP out of 350, only 7%. The lowest she’d ever been during an attack from Nameless. “Dude… I cannot believe she survived this.” Red said as she put some bandages on the wounds on her chest and arms. Then they heard rustling. Cordor weakly pushed some debris off of him. The group looked at him. He lay on the bottom of the hole in the ground, with some debris covering his body. He was at a whopping 0.9 HP out of 200. He had never been that low before. “This… is… not over. I will come back. And… when I do… I’m gonna… I’m… gonna… kill you all… I won’t stop… I’ll… get… revenge…” He weakly said, coughing and bleeding out. Then he let out one last exhale as his last tenths of HP went out. “You killed Cordor (Level 40)!” That was the death message that showed up. Nameless would definitely come back. This was the second time ever Nameless’ tribemaster had died. Sodden looked around at the chaos. “Dude. Dude. 50,000 metal. 40 hours. All down the drain because of that idiot!” Red yelled. “We grinded so hard for that room!” Dorack yelled. “Fox sacrified herself for me and Serenity.” Sodden said. “Well, just look at this. He has caused chaos. But if it wasn’t for Fox and our Gigas… we wouldn’t be here.” Rod said. “True.” Sodden said. Dorack put his hand on Sodden’s shoulder. Then Paul walked up to behind him. “Can I join your mission?” Paul asked. Sodden chuckled. “Oh, okay. I might be able to bring someone else with us.” Sodden said. Paul and Dorack let out a cheer of excitement. “Sodden, you are truly a great one.” Red said. Sodden walked to Red as he stabilized Denine. “Sometimes… sacrifices have to be made for the greater good.” Sodden said as he put his hand on Red’s shoulder. “True.” Red said. Then Sodden embraced him, and the rest embraced Sodden just then. “Well… what now?” Serenity asked. “We still have seven more creatures I need to kill. Then after that, we’ll meet up and head to the green obelisk.” Sodden said. The group let go then Sodden walked to the door. Serenity and Rod followed along. Serenity took Sodden’s left hand. Rod took his right hand. The trio walked out, and Red looked at them. “Good luck, guys!” Red yelled. The trio nodded, then threw out some cryopods. Their fliers came out. The trio got on their fliers and set out. The Brontos were dead, the walls were damaged, the forge room was destroyed, but Sodden had beaten his last challenge and that was all he cared about.
Tales of Pandora
Origins of Salizar: chapter 14 ~Master plan~
Salizar could hardly move, he felt the excruciating pain of multiple broken ribs and the burns on his back, he tried to reach out to crawl but his right arm was broken and he couldn’t move it, he couldn’t even feel his left. “Must be out of socket..” he said to himself. He resorted to pushing himself forward with his legs, he pushed into the control room, and up onto the control panel, he racked his brain trying to remember something Ryker told him. “user authorization, Code w-word ATLAS.” He said. The system turned on, the room lit up with multiple consoles and tek devices appearing out of thin air. He had activated the maintenance and quality control systems, just what he needed. “Scan f-for injuries..” he strained. “User has sustained multiple burns, abrasions, and a slight concussion along with four broken ribs, a shattered radius, and a dislocated shoulder. internal bleeding detected” Salizar groaned in agony, “treat injurie-.” He said before passing out.
He awoke, he was in a tek sleeping pod, he could move his arms and legs again without pain and breathing wasn’t followed by brutal agony. His vision was strange, he could see out of his burned eye again but the colors were distorted and slightly cyan. He almost spoke when the pod opened. “Injuries healed.” The automated voice said. He rose up and climbed out of the pod, he was very sore and his legs were a bit wobbly at first but that passed, he turned his neck and felt a few small pops and he stretched his arms. “Ahh much better, now! Back to revenge.” He said. He noticed the destroyed overseer near the window, he walked up to it and studied it for a moment. “That’s going to need some work.. hmm.” He looked around and saw just what he needed, a workstation, there he could find all the necessary equipment to repair the overseer. He worked tirelessly for the next few days, he had a bit of trouble with the AI interface for the overseer so he took a break and worked on a more cosmetic project, he used verdberries to change the cyan glow of his tek eye to a lime green color and some narcoberries to make the metal black. When he was finished with that the solution to his problem came to him and he continued on the Overseer AI, he used Dr. Haze’s voice and when he was finished he buffed the metal so it would appear as if it was never tampered with. The overseer was repaired, he booted it up and implanted a software update to make it obey him, it slowly rose up its hexagons wizzing around it, it lit up and spoke “well hello master, what can I do for you today?” It said pleasantly. “Commence the scorched earth protocols.” Salizar said. “I am quite sorry but that will be impossible sir.” The overseer said. “What do you mean impossible? Why!” Salizar said. “My console was damaged it can no longer connect to the obelisks.” It replied. Salizar rolled his eyes in frustration, “always something isn’t there..” he said, “is there any way to repair the connection?” He asked. “Negative, the parts needed are not here.” The overseer stated. “Damn!” Salizar snapped. “There may be another way,” the Overseer said. “How” Salizar asked. “The obelisks are nearly impenetrable but lucky for us they connect to one other place than here.” It explained. “Where?” Salizar said. “The floating isle, it uses the same hover technology as the arks and syncs with their network.” The Overseer said. “Then how do i access the isle?” Salizar asked. “There is a terminal on the northern center of the isle, unfortunately it is buried and my enforcers are not equipped with mining equipment.” It answered. “Hmm, sounds like I’ll need someone to dig for me, perhaps I could persuade the humans.” Salizar said to himself. “Negative, the humans are currently preparing an attack on the dragon guardian, after that they will most likely find their way here.” The Overseer said. “Don’t worry about that they can’t get here, they don’t have the other keys. But the dragon gives me an interesting idea.. would it be possible to make their battle, harder? Hard enough that they could not surmount it’s challenge?” Salizar asked. “The guardians can be cloned with higher capabilities to match their foe.” The Overseer explained. “How high can you make it’s capabilities?” Salizar asked. “Powerful enough to defeat any asset on the ark.” The Overseer said. “But could it be controlled?” Salizar asked. The Overseer thought for a while, then replied, “Affirmative.”
I’m currently on a mission to jump on its back and kill it with a mastercraft sword to avenge my argentavis. I’ve done all of the calculations and it will take me approximately 2,700 hits if I remember correctly. I know they can one shot me, but they attack with their feet which is why I’m jumping on his back. Wish me luck!!!
