Pick off a redwood tree with a quetz, drop in a taming pen, shoot with tranqs and feed cooked prime/meat. 30 prime in a 64 gets over half tamed.3-4 stacks of narcotics will keep it knocked out.

You can use cooked prime meat to tame one. It took about 50 to 60 prime meat to tame a level 60 for us.

Easy to find on the ground near green obelisk in Scorched Earth. They don't aggro to wyverns when on the ground. A few tranqs and a tree/cliff shark can be yours! Best land mount in game so far. Fast, high stamina, can climb walls, cliffs and trees.

If u are planning to tame 1 unless its like level 5 dont even bother go to ur base or somewhere clean like a beach make one of em 2 by 2 traps with door frames grab ur argy find a thyla pick it up and hope ur argy survives the way to ur base ( anything that can pick him up would do) throw into the trap make surd you have more than enough tranq darts or whatever tranq arrows keep smacking him with ur tranqs and the rest is easy make sure it doesnt wake up and clean ur base up btw

I made my wyvern carry it home and while my wyvern holding it I tranq it and tame hahaa ez no need for traps

The thylacoleo can’t jump up so if u fly above the redwoods trees they can’t get u or just bring a good melee weapon and kill it when it pounces on u
