When you find one the best way is to be on a Questal with a platform saddle. Shoot it out of the tree, land and let your quetz tank its attacks while you tranquil out. Use a longneck Rilfe.
Way more helpful than a saber and crazy good for traveling. I have looted entire hunting party's with just myself and my friend Leo.
It really likes prime cooked meat. Any cooked meat will tame this animal pretty good and fast especially mutton.
Can be tamed with cooked meat just not good effectiveness but as quick as prime
Looking for them just outside of the forest seems a good plan... Mine was on a beach attacking herbivores... Lots of narcoberrys are a must and tonnes of meat, preferably prime. My friend went to tame one, i used by quetz to pick up a big stock of berrys and prime meat.
Some tames i take fence foundation, walls and doorway/doors to prevent dinos from interfering
Numberd listed are a tad low. Said mine needed 8 lamb chops, but it actually took 9.
They are extremly rare center spawn travel to island or scorched if looking to tame
People in the Redwoods are getting hugged to death, and I'm like, "Theres no marsupial up in mah tree platform base, suckahs"
They prefer cooked meat over raw. It saves so much time.
if you find one wait for it to attack something else jump off your bird and shoot it 3 times with Tranq Darts to knock it out then feed it meat that's what I did☺
They can be tamed with all meats but prefer cooked meat to raw in the order of prime, meat, fish, if you don't cook it prepare to use a ton of narcotics!! Tamed a lvl 6 with about 130 narcotics on all cooked meat diet!!
Raw meat and raw prime meat drop it's taming efficiency a good amount
A grey one drowned on me xD stupid crocs bug lol it's koo tho I found one with red markings! One with blue markings got away from me too these come in nice colors too without mutations who knew?
The most easily accessible way for an average tribe to tame these is with regular cooked meat. If you can get cooked prime, that will take longer, but will give more taming effectiveness. Cooked meat in general is better than raw prime for this one, and cooked primes are better than cooked meat, and cooked mutton is better than both.If you try to tame this with raw meat, you better find a comfy seat.
Cook your mutton it isn't worth dying for Titanboa eggs (yes it is but hard as f**k)
Make sure u have a good shooting spot to knock them ie a big ass rock :P
The amount of cook lamb and how long it will take is a little off because we tame our 140 tamed In about 40 min and note that we starved it for about 15 min and tamed an other level 45 at the same time with one sheep
Never, EVER tame one of these with prime. EVER. I tamed a level 35 with prime and it took like 5 hours
Shocking darts works well cooked lamb not that bad for tame high lvl if cant get boa kibble
These things are insane, I was flying through with my quetz and outta nowhere it's jumps me and kills me
