Taming & KO Tips

How do I tame a therizinosaurus? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a therizinosaurus.
Get a ton of narco at least 300
Used significantly less narcotics if you feed them 3 just as the torpor stops to restart it. Just tamed a 140 solo her name is slap chop
Since the update do not use its old kibble... Doesnt work anymore, puts taming up 0.1 per eating... Had a 145 and with old megalosaurus kibble and after eating 39 had about 3% taming... Use the old kibble according to the color around the picture not what it is... Let the world know
Starve timer is inaccurate. If it says 1500 starve it till 3500.
U r considered a legend if u tame a max level with berries and narcoberries on official server
Taming one of these bastards isn’t easy, so if u just start out and want one of these, why wouldn’t you, you gonna need lotsa veggies, a lotta narcs, and a lotta dignity. Just get up on a high place with a crossbow so it can’t reach u and knock it out. That’s where the fun begins. Good luck
A little on the slow side, so it can be easily lured into a taming pen without worrying about knives in your back. XD
I'd personally recommend to tame these on a weekend during a 2x taming event. A 150 will take you one and a half hours with megalasaurous kibble. It's torpor rate is really high as well. A 150 will drain torpor in about 15 mins. So have LOTS of narcotic on hand. To knock out build a simple dino gate and doorway trap or get yourself up high on a ledge to shoot down. Avoid being attacked on foot because it will hurt.
Use a dodo armie as bait while a friend carries you on a birb
To tame one of these your gonna need megalo kibble there one of the easiest tames on mobile because of the chef station wild one is buffed on mobile Stay Safe survivors 👾
Easy to K.O. If you run into the forest. Tickle Chickens have a habit of getting stuck between trees. I tamed one at level 28 with that strategy!
The way I tamed my first one was with a frog. My friend was on the frog and he lured it to a cliff and hopped on the cliff and we tranqued it I tamed a lvl 75 by hopping on a big rock and shooting it rocks are the best for taming all land Dino’s
If u value your life or sanity-tame meglasauraus first
Before: Oh hey that one I’ve seen that before it’s a herbivore
After: they....killed......EVERYTHING
Why does a herbivore have a need to kill with no intent to eat me you WHY you cruel world sure it has long claws but still waaaghyyy
Honestly I found that the best way to tame it at low level (30 to 50ish) was to get a trike with decent health and tame a turtle. Send the turtle after it and why it is busy Annihilating the turtle pump it full of tranq darts and if it finishes off the turtle first then you have your trike to eat some damage and then you should have enough time to ko it. It's worked for me in my early days I hope it does for you. It's a powerful early game mount so good luck!
He was really easy for me I just got him with around 13 arrows and trapped him in a large bear trap then used soothing balm and mejo berries and he was mine in about 30 minuets just don’t get him near your tames before he is knocked out or he will kill them.
Build a 3x3 pilllar cage that is TWO tall leaving one spot empty, place a bear trap and lead the their inside, you should just enough time to place down the pillars before the bear traps breaks
Did the knock out and starve with Stimberrys technique and then knocked it out again and fed it Citronal. I got about 94% taming effectiveness, but it took about 3 hrs and 30 mins and about 400 narcotics. Starting level:95 After tamming: level 140. Oh and I used the tranq darts for the second knock out.
Best way to tame for lower level survivors. Create three large bear traps and place them down in a line about a parasaurs length from each other. Begin shooting with a cross bow and lure into trap. Make sure to line up the traps between you and it. As one breaks the next will catch it!
Don't tame unless you have hundreds of bio toxins
Don't forget the fact you can't leave it alone
