let me tell you quick, they are great harvester for wood ,thatch, berries, raw meat and hide. And if you level up it and invest the points in health and melee damage it will be a killer machine(a group of them will be a Ark slayer). and another thing to consider is tame one with at least level 16-20.

Things about theri:

If you see one close to you or your base,back away slowly and get the hell out of there!Once I saw one and led to my base to tame,this was when I was level 67 with flak Armour and ascendant hide gloves on.i got stuck on a rock while running from it.I GOT 6 SHOT

These guys are good for the dragon and overseer boss fight! They heal with veggie cakes, and their torpor drops a lot, so make sure to bring narcotics or narcoberries when taming.

Taming this lawn mower of a dinosaur 101.

Bring 2 friends with tranq darts and rifles.

Bring a Tapejara.

Spot lawn mower with spyglass (with preferred level ofc)

Tell the 2 to open fire (make sure you brought food and narcotics or a good berry farmer to harvest).

Land.

Give food and force feed it narcotic consumables of any kind.

And there is your lawn mower.

If you want to and I suggest not you knock it out with 4 to 5 tranq spear bolts and metal armor but you will barely leave I know this because of how I tamed mine

So you want to tame a theri? You’ve come to the right place! Before we start here are some tips:

•They may look calm but if your a low level….. ☠️

•They are excellent at gathering and can get different things from bushes using their attacks

Now let’s start! You will need:

•I used 10 tranq arrows for a level 1 but results very so try 10-80

•Crops or it’s preferred kibble (megolasauras kibble)

•10-50 tranq darts(these work better than arrows)

•one long neck rifle for the darts or one crossbow for the arrows

•A lot of bio toxin or 250 narcotics (I used narcotics but you can use 100 bio toxin)

Now find the theri you want. Make sure there are no predators around that could kill it. Climb on a high rock it can’t get you from or go on a cliff. Shoot it until it’s unconscious and feed it the toxins and crops or kibble. There you go! I hope this helped!

you must be out of your GD MIND and on some freaking rare mushrooms if you think that you’re in any place to be clowning on us for trying to tame smt with 0.875 rates and a dream bc yes, we have easier ways to gather and make narcotics and yes, our traps are super simple, but don’t for a SECOND think that your gaming chair, mouse-abusing fat butt is in any place to call his methods “NPC”. Frankly, YOU should be the one taking those narcotics because I don’t feel like living in the same f$&@ing continent with your inconsiderate ass.

How to tame a Therizinosaurus in ASA:

Create a 2x2 platform using stone foundation.

Put 2 high stone doorframes on 2 sides,

meeting at a corner.

Put a large bear trap on the foundation.

Lure the therizino to the

large bear trap and get it stuck.

Place the remaining walls on other 2 sides.

The therizino should now be trapped, and you can tranq it till it falls asleep.

Just use the thing that you get with the quest Chase megapiranha and you won't need more than 30 narco berries (they are supprisingly better than narcotics is this case)

You will need like 15-20 arrows with your better bow from Chase dilophosaurus

Protip for noobs

Found one of these scary boi’s stuck between two trees. The typical sight. I have been wanting to tame one of these but they can break trees. So idk if i attacked it it would break the trees and skin me alive. If u have tamed one this way and it didn’t break the trees please up so I know whether to try it or not

Tame it even if you don't have a saddle, just leave it on wandering and it will collect fiber for you

Don’t leave ur tamed on passive near them bc they will murder them RIP CruelSummer -spino 🥺 like so that more of these die

I’d say use a 3 by 3 stone foundation with 2 high if being safe 3 high using doorframes bc it can’t damage stone. then Trang arrows on a bow or crossbow or Trang darts or the shocking ones on a longneck rifle. when I did it it was the same amount of torpor added no matter if it was the body or head. Good job. Once knocked out recommend using its preferred kibble but if you got no time or other reasons use mejos or crops. but it doesn’t sleep forever so let’s get to the narcotics. Using narco berries or narcotics is good the biotoxin is best bc it’s the most torpor giving but to get that go to the cool blue glowing jellyfish kill and harvest them to get that sleepy toxin

Depending on taming and Dino starve stats is the amount of what things you need.

These are dangerous. They are herbivores but they are aggressive

I stood on a rock shot it with crossbow with trang till it passed out. Instead of trap i used walls to and barbs to protect it.I Used 200 berries with 300 narco cuz I didn't have soothing balms for the bonus tame. Did that at a pretty low level i just got the crossbow blueprint like an hour before.

Prepare a lot of narcotics for it. The torpor drains real fast

This is to all the mobile players who read this do not go near the tickle chicken when beginning it is very dangerous. It will slice you in half and if you do in fact, managed to knock it out don’t get 50 prime meat and make sure you bring over 100 biotoxin because this thing wakes up fast or just maybe 1000 narcotics most definitely 1000 narco berries. And just so you know, someone says hug the chicken when you see it don’t hug the chicken and I have a great name for a black one male mobile players, long claw I’m sure you get it because their claws are long. I suggest you make large bear traps on your way over because this thing if it gets stuck in the large bear trap, but beware make a line. and make sure you, lead the tickle chicken towards the middle bear trap jump over it so you don’t get stuck once it’s trapped quickly fly up to a cliff and start shooting it. The back traps are in case it runs because it’ll run directly the opposite way towards you it’ll run away from you and it’ll get stuck in the rest of the traps. Once it’s running, you can just get off the cliff and start shooting it in the head, but make sure it stays in the row of traps or it’ll stay running and you’ll be slower oh, and by the way, if it comes after you run immediately towards the beach and start swimming because they’re very very slow swimmers punch the upside of this helped.

Anyone who says climb a rock lies. While one was running from me it ran up 170 degrees and passed out on top of a 45 foot rock, had to use Petra just to get it back

Make a trap by placing stone foundations in a 2*2 grid, add stone walls( or doorframes) with one doorframe for easy access, all around two walls high, build a ramp up to the top, snipe this boi, run into trap, let it come in, run out, load it up with tranq, feed veggies
