If your in mobile, you should these guys with a soothing balm ( no one make kibble because it requires meat jerky which takes years to make)

I’ve seen too many tips about what kind of trap you need. Well, most of them are WRONG! Well, maybe they aren’t “wrong” but they are way bigger than they need to be. For most creatures up to the size of an allosaur or yutyrannus, you will only need a 1x1 trap. Here’s how:

You will need 1 stone foundation, 5 doorframes (double or single, you might need to look on the “more” tab on Dododex to see what kind you need), and 1-2 stone stairs. Place 4 of the doorframes all around the foundation, with the fifth opposite of the stairs. Lead what you’re trying to tame up the stairs and enjoy!

This Tame is dangerous and fingered (Armed) do not let out of sight these guys are even harder to control than a Rex and they tend to usually live with all the nasty dinosaurs so you can NOT!!! leave its side trust me I know. I’ve tried (and failed) a lot

High torpor. Either have kibble or be ready to give it Narco berries

Once I got soothe balm. To my disappointment I found a beautiful one. It nearly killed me. I had one more tranq arrow to shoot when... “you were killed by compy, level 1” 😡😡😡😡

I don’t take any chances with a Theri…trap it in a stone box…

2x2 stone foundation.

16 stone doorways…..and a ramp for it to rampage up and fall in. Build your trap somewhere safe…..or as safe as possible because you’re going to be here a while.

Use a flyer that can take a few hits and lure the beast up the ramp. Once trapped get to knocking it out.

That was the easy bit…

Keeping a Theri asleep is a marathon.

You can pre-prepare a bunch of narcotics but I find it best to simply bring along a gatherer in a cryopod ready to go berry picking. A Moschops is good as it can usually fight off pests…they are also very quick at helping you construct a temporary shelter to bolt on to your trap as taming a Theri will often take you well into the night and hypothermia is a thing.

Use batches of 100 Narcoberries to keep the Theri asleep.

Once tamed you’ll have an epic mount. Their harvesting skills are already well documented on here so I’ll provide another interesting detail…

…almost all other creatures are scared of them and will not openly attack you, this includes two of the most annoying creatures in the game…..Kapros and Microraptors! This makes swamps significantly safer as Sarco/Baryonyx and Boa will ignore you as well.

To encounter one; you must be at low HP, Hiding from a dangerous area and have low speed

My start of knocking out Therisinosaurs is to find some high ground once you find high ground Shoot it with everything you have Only knock out things once it’s asleep, rush down and then put 100 or more biotoxin that gives like 80 to torpidity click on the app sign to show me if it helps and click on the downside show me that it didn’t really help🥳🥳🥳😃😃😃😃🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳😃😀😄🥲😅😁😐😃🥳😉😌😍🥰😘

Just found a level 75. Almost had it, just 3-4 more tranq and out of nowhere a freaking alpha carno came and killed it.

If you have a quetzal carry it into a premade taming pen and knock it out. P.s it cannot hit the quetzal while being carried

Tamed one a couple days ago best decision I ever made. Truly one of the most powerful tames in the game. But bring lots of narcotics more than dodo dex says.

They get caught in rocks and structures easily... Use this to your advantage!

How to capture the death chicken:

1. You'll need at least 4-9 stone foundations depending on your budget, and stone doorframes (depends on how many foundations) and some wooden ramps (depends on budget) and I suggest a flyer ( PT, argy, etc) because of the DEADLY speed and strength (or just tons of speed, NOT recommended) and 100-300 bio toxin

2. Make a square with the foundations (3×3 or 2×2) and at least 3 stone doorframes high with ramps leading up and into it

3. The hard-ish part, get your flyer (or just yourself with lots of speed, NOT recommended) and get it aggressive towards you and fly over the trap making sure its in

4. Get your taming weapon of choice (crossbow or rifle recommended) and fire away (preferably the head if you can)

5. After this beast has fallen throw in some bio toxin or narcotics into its inventory along with its preferred taming food (kibble or crops) unless you are starve taming (dododex has a timer or suggested wait time if you are) and beware of dangers around

6. After it has awoken, enjoy your very own tickle chicken

These guys will DESTROY your armour very quickly, so it might be a good idea to bring an extra armour set just in case your current set gets destroyed. They are very good for PvP!

Tip for beginners bring stimberries and crops and a lot of bio toxins . I recommend using a trap for this creature or the cliff method (the trap is more convenient) after you knock it out put about five hundred stimberries in it's inventory and feed it two or more bio toxins now and then after the taming progress reaches forty percent (the stimberries makes the their hungry and it eats a lot of them so the taming progress goes up really fast)put mejoberries or crops in it's inventory and since it's hungry the taming progress goes up really fast if it's not tamed by then you repeat the process and one more thing use the mejoberries because it will not make the their full directly and can insta tame.

Whoever said to use citronal as it gives good taming effectiveness thank you man. 💪

If you are taming solo build a nine square foundation with three high sides and two high front and rear attach steps to two high side. Once you have dropped your 150 lvl. Except 5.5 hrs of your life to be gone use a gigs for protection and most importantly bring 3000 berries and 5,500 narcotics. The Dododex for this tame is way off it takes 600 narcotics per run out averaging 15 minutes per 600. Don’t lose one like I did.

to tame these beasts, make sure to bring a ton of mejoberries (or crops and kibble) and bio toxin/ narcotics. get on a rock where it cant reach you and shoot it down and chase it when it starts running. once its knocked out, feed it your taming food and make sure to keep an eye on its torpor and feed it bio toxins or narcotics regularly. it may take a while but be patient and sooner or later you will be owning your very own therizinosaurus

If u wanna kill this tickle chicken stand on top of a LARGE rock emphasis on large and pelt the hell out of it with tranq arrows or regular arrows I did it it was easy didn't die one

Make sure you bring plenty of tranqs when taming because their torpor is really high. I ran out of tranqs when taming a level 145 (used 120 tranqs). I ended up getting lucky and I managed to punch it till it was knocked.
