These devils do sooo much damage and can run like Usain bolt, but they can't see well so if you are getting chased do this 1. Pray the Ark gods are on your side 2. Run around near trees and get on high rocks. I, a level 26 was trying to tame a level 14 Theriz and died 3 times eventually I got on a rock and shot around 20 to 30 tranq arrows till it got knocked out I didn't do any research so I gave it meat, but they only eat mejo berries, vegetables, and some kibble so I had to run back to my base and get some berries and fed it, luckily I had a magic Brew thingy majig that made it tame faster and that's how I tamed it. If you don't have tranq arrows unlocked don't bother. (Btw I play on mobile).

They do not have very good eyesight. You can get pretty close to one and they will not attack you. If you get too close to it — say, a raptor or dilophosaurus’s length — THEN it will attack you. Unlike aggressive carnivores you can easily lead away/distract, like allosaurus or rex, these guys will kill you in a couple shots before you can lead them away. They do not even get provoked by other dinos.

Just avoid them entirely.

Is there anyone who can tell me how to kill these devil chickens....that are just left to my house ...plzzz I am ready to kill it....even if it kills me A couple of hundred times ....but I just wanna smack this Chicken(devil's) ...

Ok not gonna lie if it wasn’t for the save button I would have lost everything I found on of these demons on the southern part of the map and found a high level one knock it out bout a soothing balm and started taming when I when home and tried lassoing it yeah that don’t work I got jump by about four of them

Okay, what some people say isn’t true. How you should run if you see it. Don’t! Actually, you have to get extremely close to it for it to notice you and attack. So don’t get that close, I can agree it is extremely strong, very fast, and will kill you quickly if you do get near it.

Best way to kill these bastards is with a shotgun to the face while riding a frog. Lets you kite them pretty easily and their head is big enough that all the pellets will hit it.

Never I gave in combat unless your prepared😂this thing destroyed me in 2 hits whenever I see them I run so be careful when you see one

I just tried killing one of these so I could get past... Let's just say I got my face bashed into my skull... I normally kill these things on mounts, like a trike, or on kinda high rocks only I can climb, so unless you have good ranged weapons, RUN FOR YOUR LIFE AND DONT LOOK BACK!!!

These things are crazy dangerous a 135 rolled up on me and killed me then proceeded to kill my 298 Mana and 266 Argy and I had both there health and damage way up

I actually tamed level 16 bird demon…after I accidentally walked up on him and he murdered me and my triceratops, my stegosaurus, 4 raptors, and my gang of dodos (i like dodos for some reason) 😂.The way i tamed him was he got stuck behind a tree after fighting all my pets and killing them and i just got easy shots with a crossbow (it took about 22-25 even after soloing a pack of dinosaurs)

To fight this creature on easy you need a good bow and plenty of arrows and shoot it from a hill where it can’t get you. If you can’t kill it the next best option is to run…

Not only are they super strong and super fast but they can hit you while you are riding your tame and give you torpor like they can literally make you fall unconscious while you’re riding your tame… I learned this the hard way the first time I tried to tame one… it killed my Rex and I literally couldn’t do anything about it because I was unconscious

headbutts can kill the player when mounted. i was bored so started knocking out stuff with my lvl 200 scorpion. then this lvl 13 theri came in, killed me while riding on my pulmo then: 🗡 ur pulmonoscorpious (lvl 200 pulmonoscorpious was killed by a lvl 13 therizinosaurus

I was planning on getting one on PS4. Found one near me and I grabbed my baryonyx and ran! Came back and shot it three times (once in the head) and it ran away. As soon as I saw it run I was like "yeah I'm lucky to have a huge rock near me 🤣".
