I have my island infested with these. But I never tamed one I have a spino and 2 rex covering my back yet I am afraid of going near one since it has also got his back covered with his friends.

Came across by accident chasing a parasaur while training my pack of 8 dilos... dont need to train any dilos now, he killed all of them in a couple seconds then me.

Me: Tries to kill a lv 4 of these with a lv 74 Spino

Theri: Does at least 5,000 damage to me

Spino: Has only around 16,000 health “ouch”

Me: Thought that would be a easy opponent since I destroyed everything in my way barely taking damage from them

it took a bit for them to get agro for me like i’m tickling range for it to start attacking so one time i was going up the ramp on the easy region on island and i was scared but then i remembered i had a longneck rifle so i felt pretty safe so if it started to attack i would to so i go up to it cause it was by some berries passed by it then hits me into the air team rocket style.

the theri can harvest meat in the wild (for some reason)

Haha. I killed a therizino with a 1000 health utahraptor and a longneck rifle.

Funny how it does not eat meat but eats me....

Just get on an ichthyosaurus and lure the therizino to the water, then bite it and go far, the therizino won’t going to go into deep water and stop attacking you, then repeat until you finished it off.

I had two dilos (Jared and Toothless), a moschops who I haven't named yet and a parasaur (Spinach). I saw this thing and remembered that people said to run when you do, so I did. What I didn't remember was I had commanded my dilos and para to stop, so the only one following me was my moschops. I turned around and the Theri was near my dinos so I quickly whistled for them to follow me. Then they just attacked the Theri. I have no idea why. I desperately tried to whistle again, but they just kept attacking. They died one by one. It was heartbreaking. Now I am trying to escape with my unnamed moschops.

Just stay away from these monsters the look cool but they melt through your amour

One day da spooky scratchy bird came to my house and caused me grief by murderin’ all’ a my beloved tames, murderin me and tearin’ down da house I built. Da legand of Da spooky scratchy bird haunted my dreams and caused me nightmares for a long time and cause me to develop PTSD. I know keep over 30 dilos, an Iguanidon, a pachy, dat one pig dat poops a lot, a trike and a parasaur in case da dang bird ever comes back.

ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW: Therizino

It's VERY AGGRESSIVE, has High Health, High Speed & High Damage output.

Avoid at any cause til you can tame them cos these guys are endgame boss killers and are not worth the trouble unless it means you can bring one back home.

Trap them easily by placing 4 stone foundations and 1 wall high all around except on one of the sides, which will leave 2 walls off, bait it in there while using a flyer, high hp pteranodon or an average hp argentavis, while it's in there with you, quickly place those 2 last walls on that one side and it's trapped, fly out. Kill any carnivore around the place to make sure it doesn't come and ruin your taming.

Knock these guys out using tranq arrows or darts, tame them with mejoberries, also have a steady supply of narcoberries cos you gotta need to forcefeed them around 1500-2000 just to have them stay down, don't forget to put down spike traps around it when it's knocked out cos some aggressive dinos will attack it, better be safe than sorry regarding these guys.

Tame level 125 or above therizinos til you get one theri with 8874 HP or above, and one theri with 330 Melee or above, breed them wil you get 1 female and 1 male with the high hp stat and high melee stat.

Breed those 2 til you have 16 in total not counting the ones you are breeding.

Level those 16 guys up in hp and melee and put about 20 veggie cakes in each of them, and ofc use the best therizino saddle blueprint you got.

Use these 16 theriz with 1 mammoth, 1 yuty, 1 deadon and 1 rex against all bosses.

The rex is meant to take aggro from the theriz and yourself since theriz counts as a medium sized dino and bosses will aggro on the largest tames first aka your yuty or in this case the rex instead.

This gives you some space and time for you to switch between using the mammoth debuff on the boss and the yutys buff on your own dinos, also giving you some space to use deadon to heal you theriz even more which will save some of the veggie cakes. since they can be hard to come by in such a big numbers.

Theriz harvest hide, fiber and wood extremely well making crafting saddles and building huge wooden bases lot easier, combined with a doed which harvest stone, one of the best stone structure gathering duo in Ark Island

If you wanna kill one here are the steps: 1. Tame a trike. 2.find theri. 3. Use the trikes charge attack to stun it for a little bit of time. 4. Once it gets close attack the theri and push it back and repeat until it dies. Also the use of this is for items,xp, and for making sure it doesn't destroy your base and tames :)
