What are tips for therizinosaurus? Tips and strategies for therizinosaurus in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
If you see it and it starts chasing you go in the opposite way of your base if your near because then it won't kill any of your dinos
A level 2 took out 25 lvl 20-30 dilos, a 35ish pteranodon, 2 lvl 20 ish raptors, a few parasaurs, an anky, castor, philomena, and a few others. All under level 35, but still. Dude literally shredded everything. If you’re going on an adventure into hostile territory, not sure of the difficulty or level of your enemies, bring a theri. They are the best bodyguard/utility tame combo you can find. You need a trap though. Stone trap. I built a boat trap with Stone. Check out YouTube. The mobile Stone trap is great. The cabin is mostly secure, but glitching can happen still. You can just surf thr coast looking for tames. Pop out, shoot, run up your ramp and out the doors. Keep some storage boxes, mortar and pestle, a bed, and a campfire/cooking pot inside and you have yourself a portable taming camp.
Bruh this think will kill you, your mum your dad it's STRONG
I have a lvl 68 IT KILLED A LVL 15 REX Easily
These guys are a big threat to early players, especially when on the island. I made my base on Craggs island and had to constantly keep watch on a Therizino that kept getting close to me and my dilophosaurs. What I noticed is that they have a pretty far wander range at times. I bumped into it once in the trees and it was able to keep up with me anywhere on Craggs island and I had more than enough movement speed to get away from raptors. My point being that you gotta watch out on the beaches because they seem to spawn almost anywhere really
Don’t go close to this thing or you will die and make sure it can’t reach you when your tameing it
The first thing you will see is a discount Rex running after you the next thing you see is a white light😂
Step 1: find the devil dodo

Step 12: feed it

Step 14: watch it tame

Step 16: ride your devil dodo
Step 17: slap the Rex to hell
Your welcome for this tutorial on how to tame a devil DODO
If you can manage to tame one of these bad boys early in the game, getting to mid game will be MUCH easier. All of my dinos were dying and as a beach bob I wasn’t sure how far I should be advancing before trying good tames. Got this thing and it carried me so hard until I could get rexes and argies without any dangers
They can topor me bruh after hit
So I’m being attacked by a therazinosaur and I’m only level 13 WHAT DO I DO?!?
They are fast so if you run turn a lot it helps trust me it saved my life
I ran in to it and it destroyed me and part of my base
When I Encountered It i Hit It With My Bow And Ran Then Cowered Behind A "giant turtle" (forgot srry) and waited and once it hit the turtle it was being hit by 3 yes 3 things cause another "giant turtle" came around so yea that helps
So this thing is strong and frightening but if you set some greater bear traps and run and shoot you can knock it out. Just don't let it come to close or it will take you down.
If you see this and are good with an gun kill it in 10 shots or die if you do not kill
Giv big chikn hug, it love hug :)
These things seem to not notice you if you are sprawling, that is the easiest way to escape a therizino.
I'll tell you kibble is a pain in the ass to make especially for therzino but it's so god I'm glad I took the time to make it
DON'T SPAWN A NEW SURVIVOR/BUILD YOUR FIRST BASE ON SOUTH BEACH 3. If you see one of these, RUN. Serpentine between and behind rocks and structures to get out of its line of sight, these things run FAST. They spawn directly north of South Beach 3 in the forest, up the hill. I made this mistake repeatedly on my first save in hard mode and had to start over, kited it to my base from lack of hiding places to weave through... couldn't stay alive long enough to build a second thatch hut or put an extra sleeping bag down. Got spawn camped and never attacked it but people aren't joking when they say these stupid things are territorial as hell. And they easily wander onto the beach. Had tames in the base and Theri was aggroed after I died so it killed all my tames and destroyed my storage area in the process. Don't be stubborn like I was. Move and start over.
Additionally for South Beach 3 raptors become a huge issue since you're directly next to a forest biome spawn area. Spawn or stay at South Beach 2 near the sand bank and worst you'll deal with is Dilophosaurs on the coast stalking Dodos which can be taken down with bolas, clubbed and fed as quick guard pets; plenty of rocks to climb to have high ground as well and flat area for easy base expansion. Don't wander too far into the surrounding forest without building alternate camps *WITH BEDS AND EXTRA WALL LAYERS during the "South of the Island" Pursuit or you could meet Kruger Chicken (Theri) again, or rarely but potentially, you could meet face to face with a hungry Spino near the river by the cave. Build a lot of hiding places to weave through to get out of its line of sight if you get chased.
Wait until you're much stronger, better equipped and well off enough to even attempt to tame one - and no, you can not club them, you need basic technology, don't be a caveman. They eat berries despite stabbing you to death (I thought it was a carnivore at first), you'll need stacks of them. Use tranq arrows, stone tier walls or higher for trapping, a good high ground to shoot tranqs, and a tonne of narcotics/bio toxins or you will be impaled by a very unhappy Edward Scissorhand. They're very useful as tames once you get enough resources to kidnap one from the wild.
