Hi welcome to my help for taming all dinosaurs in the game, any ways this will be a simple trap:

The trap will consist of 4 stone gate frames and 4 Dino gates. (Note: they can break stone so knock it out fast or use metal)

Once it’s knocked out you will need about 1000 narcotic cuz it’s torpor drops at usain bolt speed.

After it’s knocked out it kibble is megalosaurus but if you don’t access for it best choice is veggies. Now the waiting game begins. I tamed a level 420 therizino in a server and to be honest it was not that hard.

(Mobile) Taming this thing is very easy if you know what you're doing, before knocking it out sleep close to it this will drain all its food, use a tape tapejara to latch onto something for easy knocking, once knocked give it soothing balm and crops/mejos. Ok so there are people saying use traps and etc, but when I tamed mine I didn’t I just said at a distance and shot at it and when it started to run I kept at it till I saw it fall, but I was riding my Pteranodon so that’s a way you can do that, both of the ones I have

You think a megatherium is good? Well, say bye-bye! Because the theri is your next best dinosaur! (Apart from rex, bronto, etc.) theirs can harvest wood, thatch, all 5 types of meat, chitin, berries, charcoal, and lots more! (I think charcoal idk.) they are awesome for base defense and raiding other enemy players! So throw out your megatherium, and say hello to your new theri friend!

If you see this Don’t run just go around it

Ok so this thing may look scary and it is but if you get up to a high place and shoot it with tranq arrows it’s an easy tame

Once you unlock rifles and shotguns this thing becomes less scary, wonder why…

I must say ty to all the comments. I just started playing ark and was lucky enough to knock my first high level raptor (lv 51). I nearly started attacking the lv 4 bird but I didnt thanks to the comments. I tried to outsmart the bird and block its path towards me with wooden spikes which the bird somehow juked and nearly made me wet myself. somehow he didnt go ham on me or the raptor even though it was super close

guess I used all my luck today

I went to go tame one of these, so I put down a large bear trap. It got stuck, but when it go out, it killed my best raptor! Eventually i knocked it out, but for some reason it glitched and disappeared! So annoying! Moral of the story, be prepared because these are VERY deadly.

You just have to pump narcotics in it the second it knocks out, easy to trap

Once you have 2 of these that are the opposite gender, start breeding ASAP.

All you need to do is put 4 standimg torches around the egg and once born just use mejoberries and it's easier than ever. I'm breeding triplets!

Fairly simple battle.

-find one

-do not go near it

-find a rock

-climb the rock

-crossbow

-it’s gone

If you have a flier carrying one of these on wander, it will still try to harvest any trees it can reach until at 50 percent weight.

Get a good bow/crossbow/longneck

For ammo use tranq arrows/tranq darts/shocking tranq darts

Build a 3x3 stone foundation, place doorframes on the sides, build it 2 on each foundation and place ramps on any side of the trap

Get the theri's aggro and go up the ramp and fall through the doorframes

If you did it right it should be in the trap

Now knock it out with your tranq of choice

Make sure to bring lots of narcotics because it loses torpor fast

If you are new and you see one of these things near you don't try to tame it. It is just as aggressive as the one in the movie

i tamed this beast and i only used tranq arrows and crossbow while sitting on a rock, taming can be easy if you have big rocks nearby. I AM PRO! ( this might not be true ).

Make a stone 2x2 with walls that have a space every wall with a ramp into it and you got a captured tickle chicken. Then tranq it starve it and feed whatever you got mejo berries are good for beginners but kibble is nice also don’t go close to the walls

I said after stegos I would do Kent’s but I will pause Kent’s for theris. So anyways, im gonna see how the theris do on the alpha, gamma and beta broodmother. (No saddles btw) I’m occasionally gonna do saddles, but I wanna see what the Dino’s can do without saddles. Im also not gonna use cakes for the gamma and beta.

Gamma:As expected, the broodmother was being shredded. It died and no theris did. Anyways, let’s move on.

Beta: She started going on a theri murder spree and killed 9. 3 remained and held on for a alonf as they could, but eventually they all fell. She was at half before she killed all the theris.
