Ever thought of taming these guys, GOOD IDEA! They are multi use herbivores, the bite attack gathers berries from plants, and hide from carcasses, the gathering attack gathers fiber, in one day of harvesting, Dear god was I smuthered by fiber, and hide, need a home defense animal to defend you. Tickle chicken has got that handled, all three attacks do damage, they like megalo kibble, and citronal, don’t have that, grabs a ton of mejoberrys, and either narcotics or bio toxin, again you can always use narcoberrys. They tame slow, so pack a lot of narcotics and they’re torpor is very high so pack a lot of tranq arrows. I hope this info helps up for people to see :D ( also if you get cornered by them yea it’s game over)

Well the easiest way to tame this......thing (on mobile) is by Knocking him out in trap of ur chosing and feed him a smoothing balm 10x and it works on any other creature, and u can simply get this (smoothing balm 10x) with a chance to get it, is by Tributing the artifact of the hunter.

Get up high. He's about as small as my will to live after seeing him.

If you see this monster, either run for your life or kill it. Show no mercy as it will not hesitate to rip you to shreds for just being in eyesight

If you have a a Argentavis with a Saddle, you can attack it and go back in the air as fast as possible, so it wont hit you more than 1 time, just keep doing that and you will kill it, but look at your stamina! As soon as you will land and you can see it, it can see you too and it will run towards you

I recommend going out with a flyer to the ocean (have a good weapon) and killing a lot of jellyfish for bio toxin. It does double the the torpor of narcotics but doesn’t yield hunger sadly. Just stay on top of taming it and your good as gold.

DO NOT SCARE THEM!! They will bring nightmare if you do!

If this thing is near your house, put everything you have in your storage bin and lead it away. Might take a few tries but it'll be worth taming after you get far enough, assuming it's still there.

This thing can't stop ruining my day. When I just tamed my first level 115 raptor, level 90 and 55 of these killed my raptor. After that, I saw a wild level 150 raptor. I go back to my home, grab some meats, tranq arrows, bola, and a soothing balm to tame him. When I arrived, I saw him fighting a level 100 therizinoaurus and died. Really hate these things when they're wild.

To knock out safely, try trapping it in a cage made of pillars and shoot it with tranqs

These are the Rex's of the herbivores... run away before you're getting eaten by these fake herbivores

Ceate a trap with 3 stone dinosaur gateway and 1 gate other side block with 3 stone pillars agro theri on your pteradon and trap the thri and knockout with toxicant or tranq arrow and feed rock carrot maintain torper with biotoxin

when you try to use bola and you reallize it does't work and you died

TAME THESE BEFORE REXES!!!

they are about as tough but can also gather fiber, berries, wood, and thatch

seriosly they are worth it

take 6 triangle foundations and put them in a hexagon shape and put stone doorframes around it two high and a ramp where you want to lead him in. then for extra protection from glitches you can add another doorframe on every spot besides the ramp spot. grab a flyer and lead him up the ramp and into the trap. have narcotics and berries ready. tranq him and you got him. i got this all from a utube vid but it does indeed work. works good for newer players

I was going to get metal when out of nowhere this thing started attacking me and when I dies i ran trying to call her to stop fighting it after that it broke my heart and i set my mind to annihilate that sucker so i researched and tried different tactics and i found out that if u manage to use the grappling hook ammo u can hook to a cliff away from it and just pelt it as much as u like as long as you have enough arrows

Taming tip.

Build 4 gates in a square

One gate angled so you can squeeze out.

Lure bird in.

Use shield to absorb hits while you squeeze out of hole

Run around and close door trapping bird

Tranq it down.

LOTS of narco, it burns it at an accelerated rate

Theris are incredibly useful tames, they can harvest wood, thatch, berries, meat, hide, fiber and pretty much anything else that isn’t as solid as a rock, as well as this they are as strong as rexes and can run much faster and for far longer, seriously get yourself a theri, you will not regret it
