Defiantly trap it. I was playing with my friend and we were going on a hunt for Dino’s (to tame) and we found a therazinosaur the first time we went after it we died and get this we were level 78 we went back and I got stuck in a tree that was how we got it (they take awhile to tame). Make sure to have narcotics, it goes down very quickly

If you want to kill them what you need is

.A stego the same or higher level than it

.decent to fast speed

.a ranged weapon

Here is what you need to do

Hit it and run to the stego ride the stego and apam hit and hes dead

You can place these in front of trees in your base, and it will collect wood and thatch, then after the tree respawns, it will collect wood and thatch again, until it starts to get encumbered and stop. Then, you can collect your resources from its inventory, and it will start automatically collecting again.

You can also place these around bushes, and they will "gather" to make the bushes despawn, but they will gain nothing in their inventory.

Random Fact: These guys aren't randomly attacked by dilos or raptors in ark ultimate mobile edition, unlike in ark mobile.

WATCH OUT!!! Even though they are herbivores they act like carnivores when you get close to him he will attack you just like a Dilophasaurus or a carnotaurus or something like that I've only seen therizinosaurus two times and I've been killed bye therizinos two times

I’m no expert but this thing is nasty. I’ve had to co-exist with these monsters for a while so I know a bit about these giant death chickens. They’re actually not as bad as some of those other tips say. Sure, they can obliterate you and just about everything else with two hits, but they don’t actively hunt you down until you come within two feet of it. But once you do that, you’re dead. The best way to live around them is to be aware of your surroundings. Pay attention to little details like that thing that may or may not be a large claw at the corner of you’re screen.

These things killed my trike and para so I tamed it (I used soothing balm from megapirana mission)

How to kill a therezinosaur solo for low levels. First, set up a spike wall in a defense position. Second, attract the Dino to you by shooting an arrow at it. Then, continue this attack from a position in which the creature will hurt itself on the spikes trying to get to you. continue this for about 25 seconds and make sure you have a lot of arrows. Eventually, it will fall.

This thing.. won't stop chasing you so there is no going back just stay clear of it. Remember this NO TURNING BACK SUDDEN DEATH ONCE SPOTTED!!!!

do NOT make the mistake of thinking these are passive they will kill you and all your friends and then destroy your base, until you have fairly good gear, RUN

Guys set them on enable wander and they will gather wood for you

Remember to bring a lot of narcotics for this guy one you knock it out. Like ALOT. Its torpor drain is wild

This thing can collect TONS of wood!

RUN this thing will not give up until you are or on the other side of the map.

U can outrun it with 107.50% base speed, way easier to outrun with 120 tho.

If you’re playing Fjordur, you will find a multitude in Jotunheim, but beware as Jotunheim is the only “Deadly!” realm I’ve ever seen. Cold as a witch’s titty and high level Ice Wyvern in the ravine.
