These guys are NOT that hard to tame. U dont even need to build a trap all ur need is a crossbow, 30 tranq arrows and like 2-3 large bear traps. Dont forget to bring balm as those are almost impossible to tame without balm.

just spent an 1h and 1/2 trying to tame a lvl 15 therizinosaurus, used majo berrys and i used around 150 narcotics to get it to 44%!!! how much am i going to neeeeedd? dodex said 44… that was awfully off lmao> it eventually woke up bc i couldn’t keep up

If you're wondering why your armor somehow breaks in 3-5 hits +you die when you're trying to kill a theri by yourself with a melee weapon, its cuz theris deal way more damage through armor than most other creatures.

This also applies to the manta

Lead this thing through 4 stone dino gateways spaced far enough apart to fit a human then close the gate of the last one, quickly run back close the gate of the first one now you have it trapped and you can tranq it

It will also damage the gates whemever it does the headbutt attack but only deal damage in the single digits or even 1 damage.
