This creature is sensitive to because this creature is want to safety (I will don't think to use safety), for that use crossbow for first shot, when he's distracted, change to the bow with tranq arrows and now you can tame or kill him, also don't think to keep your distance, but you have to knock him for a long time

so just now I encountered this lv 3 theri and I had my lv 26 raptor and I thought we were unstoppable……And the rest was history.(Although I killed it in the end) Tip:kill or tame it u can’t run from it

If you see this thing it will kill you, your friends, your family, some guy down in Africa, and an alien on another planet.
Avoid them if you are not confident you can kill or subdue them. Despite being Herbivores they will not hesitate to use those large claws to slice you into ribbons before wandering off. These "Tickle Chickens" are certainly a threat to newcomers, and even more experienced survivors who find themselves unfortunate enough to have drawn the ire of a Therizinisaurus. I have no advice on how to fight one, only that you should avoid them.
