they can be imobilized via large traps,recommend one of em. when tranqing one out and it starts running awayd ue to its torpor getting high,if u dont have speed use aiunt since they r hella fast

Lol I found one of these stuck in some kind of pit. I grabbed a 15 tranq arrows, shoot at it but it didn't get knocked out do I need 100 of tranq arrows? Im just lvl 34 and so far I killed maybe 5 of these and I wanna tame them so baddddddd. Btw a tip for defending yourself from these dudes... Use bow and arrows, couple of spears and probably 3 dilos, 2 raptors or 1 trike to assist you.

Killed 3 of these wasn't that bad. 1st encounter: found near my spikey wooden base, hit it with a freaking bow, 3 dilos and 1 trike attacked 1 dilo died. 2nd encounter: on my way wandering in thr big island I frraking encountered one again, fortunately my trusty raptor and dilo protected me, LUCKILY NO ONE DIED. 3rd encounter: wandering again... I tamed an ankylo I SAW ONE AGAIN I RAN BEVAUSE I WASBPREVIOUSLY ATTACKED BY A RAPTOR. my freaking ankylo died.

If you have 2 raptors 1 dilo and 1 weapon that can shoot you can kill it

Make a 2by2 trap or a gate trap and lure it in with a flyer tame. And it usually won't kill you.-make sure it's made of stone.

I ran from this for so long had a metal sword hide armor and decided I was gonna attack it idc if I die so I attacked all alone it had 1044 life I had killed things with more life and a less powerful weapon I almost died barely any life left most my armor broke but I killed it! Later I found another with my Raptor Claw and we attacked it had 842 life now I was wearing my chitin armor i forgot about it last time and we killed it pretty easy what u should do is get a bow tranq arrows find one alone bring ur best armor and weapon get on a high rock and tame it if u can't tame it for some reason just kill it best to knock it out then kill it. Anyone know what kind of meat to give it and if ill need any kind of narcotic?

Can somebody explain why this calculator isn't accurate in my case. I play SP, diff. level 0,669, all other settings default. Today I tamed 73 level Theri, and it took only 4 tranq darts to KO and only 3 kibble to tame. I am not complaining, cause I saved few kibbles, just wondering how to get accurate calculation?

Knock out with tranqs then use trikes for narcoberries

This thing is absolutely terrifying but I use grapples to get to a place where they cant reach. It may take some experimenting to find out where they cant reach but thats the main way that I tame these things

If your going to kill one tame Dilophosaurus these guys shoot poison, get like a little army of them (7) and level them up over 25. You should be good then 👍

This thing take a lot of fall damage!

Therizinos may seem powerful, but they are not invincible. I once had a Raptor, Dilo, Parasaur, and one of those giant tortoise things. I sent all 4 of them to try and kill one, surprisingly, my tames won the fight. My Raptor and Parasaur died, but my tortoise and Dilo just survived. However, that was months ago, I honestly can’t remember the levels of my tames or the Therizino during that fight. Sorry about that.

Took so long to tame that i gave up and went away so use kibble or something and have LOTS of narcotics or biopoison.

For new players when you encounter it, RUN. RUN LIKE HELL. But it's no THAT strong. If there is one that really annoys you, take it down with like a 5 dilos And a bow. It's not that hard.

The one I tamed was level 11 and it only took 38 tranq arrows crash right? You need sooo many narcotics or biotoxins sorry I did not know how to spell it or narco berries but any way yea
