This creature legit make yeti cave stupidly easier

Knock out just bolla it (yes they can be bolaed looks Whos the tough one now yes I am laughing to ) and use tranq darts or hut with club while moveing but even level 5 needs like 19 narcotics to tame with meat

These make decent scouting mounts. They're relatively quick & their ability to glide by holding the jump button can get you out of some sticky situations that wouldn't be possible on a raptor (jumping from a cliff to escape predators). I suggest leveling in Health, Stamina, & Melee (Movement Speed as needed).

These guys gain consciousness fast so I reccomend some natriotic

This thing will aggro on most dinos you knock out. Me and my buddies were taming a 150 Rex, on Ragnorack, in a taming pin, and right when it got close to 98%, one of these douchebags ran past THREE Tribemates and ran STRAIGHT to our Rex to nibble on his nose. He lost 15 levels on Taming that day. Our Tribe member taming the Rex was speechless. Then we let the Rex eat the Terror Bird's corpse. It was a good day.

I tamed one of these alpha dodos and named it terry and minus the alright weight state he was a great exploring mount

I dont know why but, sometime this creature will bring some group.And it always attack like ninja.

This devil pecked a lvl 125 Spino that I just knocked out! I was planning on breeding high lvl Spinos and now its taming effectiveness went from 70+ to just 55... AAARRGHH! I'LL NAME THE SPINO TERRA-HANNAH AND HUNT DOWN ALL THE TERROR BIRDS AFTER I GOT HER A SADDLE!

If your taming one just to inform you it will need WAY more narc than shown

A tip for ark ascended (center) if u have a group up to 3 people u can try taming him as 5/6 tame

What u need:

Bola/bear trap

Tranq arrows w. Bow

1 fast tame that will help escape if something goes wrong

If u wanna tame one of these bad boys. I suggest u trap it first. Then wait for a couple of hours(depends what level ur taming) then knock it out. And shove it's face with kibble

I thought these things could only spawn in the redwoods… I was proven wrong when like 10 of these things ran straight to my base which I was surprised as it’s nowhere near the redwoods… turns out they can spawn almost anywhere in the map (usually where raptors can they can too) but they just don’t for some reason and they all like to just group together in the redwoods

BIG TIP IF YOU TRY TO FIND ONE:

They spawn around and in the red woods, and sometimes around mountains hunting! (like if it's a good tip)
