They are really fast and the attack knocks you back so be very careful and dont be silly around these guys. Also I noticed they will follow you for a long distance, they chased me across a river.

Remember these guys are fast. Make sure you have plenty tranq arrows and bolas. If you really don't want it to break out fast use a bear trap. Be careful there torpor runs out fast. Good Luck and have fun survivor

Keep a hold of jump as you're in air and it will glide

I've encountered a out 5 of these things on a beach near my house. It took only 1 to peck me into the shadow realm.

1 craft 20 bola

2 craft 100 Iraq arrows

3 shot it in the head

4 feed it meat

5 enjoy the terror bird

Just lift it up in an argy and put it in a taming pen , wait for sunset and then go to sleep .

Wake up knock them out, there food will be all drowned and just put raw meat and yea u got an instant tame

TIP:You can fly but you need to jump

When taming do not leave unattended for too long, their torpor drops at about 3-4 per second and it doesnt have high torpor

When taming one, be sure to bring lots of narcotics if you don’t have kibble. Blows through torpor fast. Don’t listen to the amount that Dododex tells you, those amounts are too low.

When you see this just staring at you in the middle of the redwoods at night and your with 2 other people… RUN FOR YOUR LIFE THIS CREATURE IS SO AGRRESSIVE IN REAL LIFE IT USED ITS BEAK TO STAB ITS PREY IN THE THROAT FOR REAL anyways my point is they are very deadly

They glide! Sort of. Jump and hold space bar down. Flutters gently to the ground with those baby wings. Fun tame around.

They are so annoying,you can't take a break in the redwoods. But they are a good mount fast,good stamina, average health and they glide ability.

They can be picked up by an argentavis.

I hate Terror Birds, I lost 2 pteranodon for them, a velociraptor and a megaloceros. please don’t do the same I did (underestimate Terror Birds) they will kill your tames

Erm, let’s just pretend I never said anything.

I hate them with a passion like no other. Fast, travel in groups, very aggressive and strong attack means these things won't hesitate to make a meal out of you. All over SE and heavily concentrated in the Red Forest on The Center. If you can outrun them, (higher level = faster bird) best thing to do before you run out of stamina is introduce them to their oversized cousin the paracer. Stand by it's legs and let the bird try to attack you. I will accidentally bite the Paracer and make it angry. Immediately move out of the paracer's legs and run forward then across the path of the paracer again as the bird won't de-agro off you till it takes damage from the Paracer. If the paracer is anymore than 20 levels below the bird, or if the bird has friends, run like hell! If not, wait and the Paracer will kill it for free meat and hide and often some items, as they carry them usually. Same idea works with wolves, cats, etc. You can also run them into other defensive dinos or their fav snacks!

It is pretty much a raptor that can glide through the air. The thing is that it isn't an early tame, which is why it is less useful. Since it's a harder tame than a raptor, you can better tame a carno at that point.

Please for gods sake carry some bolas, and I say some because they are never alone. Just stay clear of redwoods!
