One of the strongest dinos in ARK i killed a 90 sarco with 2 lvl 60-70 terrorbirds

If you are taking a terror bird there are 3 ways to do it depending if you are solo or with friends.Method number one is to pick it up with a argy or quetz and have a friend tranq it or simply just pick it up and put it in a taming pen.If you have lots of health and are feeling risky you can try to kite it around and tame it that way. Be warned terror birds lose torpor very quickly so be prepared with lots of narcotics or narcoberrys

These guys turn into bigger dodos after you get to lvl 20 there easy to kill and tame.

One thing to know is that they can be glitchy.One way you could exploit is to stand in its hitbox and pike/sword it.If you have good stam and speed then simply run at enemies and make him agro onto that.If niether and you just started out you could try to out swim it.One other thig i suggest is that u bola them.Also if you have a house with a normal door run in open the door and pike it (it's pretty much an exploit) but it can't damage you.Last but not least i say you should hit it through the wall if you have anything other then a pike.

Tip for noobs:

If ya wanna find one of these, go ta redwood.

Despite wat people say I find dem an easy kill with a firearm or bola and pike, even in packs. Just don't go near dem on petros or tapas

Why I have a Sarco and a Beelzebufo. These things suck.

If you go into deep water on one, you will go super fast. Use this for instant travel.

Here are some reasons why I would not reccomend taming a Terror Bird:

-Extremely difficult to knock out (They are always in groups and run very fast)

-Torpor runs out very quickly and for a 10+ level one, you will need 100 or more narcotics

-Once tamed, they have terrible stamina, weight, and health

The only two upsides of taming a Terror Bird is that they are fast, do a decent amount of damage, and the fact that they can glide.

If you looking for a pack animal, this is the best creature for that (besides dimporphs).

But if you are looking for something that can be useful on its own, I would not tame these.

Am I supposed to be scared? These guys won't stand a chance against me if they get me raging and by the looks of them I already am raging I killed 1000s of Dodds and you little birds are next !

Pick him up with an Argy and fly far away from his buddies so you can safely tame him.

If you want to kill these after your mount dies use a shottie i did this and i killed a few!
