Very underrated mount, especially for caves. They're pretty small so can fit in most areas. Pump up the HP and just travel light. They're very fast and the gliding ability is great.

The absolute must-have exploration mount on scorched earth.

They might need some levels into weight, but the map has so much verticality and so many canyons that a terrorbird will save you several minutes of detouring by gliding over gaps.

Plus the saddles are dirt cheap regardless of tier.

100% a scout. Don't even try to get in fights with it. 600 stamina is good enough to fly from top of volcano to ground. I like 200+ speed. It's mostly just a fun mount.

If gliding, when they land on water, they will glide on top of the water!

Fast as a raptor and it can glide a long way. Good scout or if u have high melee it's a good thing to do some light hunting with. Up melee,HEALTH,WEIGHT,and a little speed never hurts.

They glide! Sort of. Jump and hold space bar down. Flutters gently to the ground with those baby wings. Fun tame around.

YALL WEREN’T LYING ABOUT THE GLIDING ABILITY- it’s little wing flapping😭😩 they’re not bad, they do have little stamina and don’t do much damage but they’re quick so I would only recommend for short travel also the amount of time they can Glide depends on their stamina too so be careful. -V

Everyone seems to limit this to just being a "scout". If you get a high level (170+) the terror bird can easily be one of the most deadly mounts out there. It's speed is unmatched and its ability to glide from any height, if it has the stamina that is, makes it amazing. If you pump HP, speed, stamina, and later on movement speed, you will have an absolute killer. (WARNING: Even high level terror birds will have low weight, only bring your essentials to maximize on speed!)

Get yourself a flock of these guys amd make sure they are bred and fully imprinted as well. Well they don't have to be bred but just wont be as good. Trust me on this. These guys are amazing as a flock. Watching them devour everything is amazing. Get tbese guys to as much health as possible and you'll be able to tear through alpha Raptors and Carnos with ease.
